Riverwood Forest Retreat – Dooars organises safaris 4 times a day. The Jungle Safaris are conducted in 4X4 jeeps (Gypsy) and take guests into the tourism zone of Gorumara National Park. The safaris start in the morning after sunrise and last for a duration of 2 hours except the evening safari which lasts for 3 hours. Major wildlife sightings include one-horned Indian Rhino, Elephants, Gaur (Indian Bison), Leopards, Spotted Deer, the majestic Sambar, Wild Boars and Barking Deer.
