Senate Room

Yes, the Senate Room can function as a breakout or ancillary space within a multi-room event programme, given that The Windflower Resorts & Spa Varca has additional banquet and outdoor event spaces on the property. This makes it a flexible option for conferences or off-sites that require both plenary and smaller-group sessions. The events team can advise on coordinating multiple spaces simultaneously.

Specific capacity figures for the Senate Room have not been independently confirmed and should be verified directly with The Windflower Resorts & Spa Varca's events team. Capacity will vary depending on the seating configuration chosen — boardroom, classroom, or theatre style. The events desk can provide exact numbers along with layout options.

The Windflower Resorts & Spa manages catering through its in-house hospitality team, which covers events held across the property including the Senate Room. Delegates can typically expect options ranging from tea and coffee breaks to full meal service, depending on the event programme. Specific menus and catering packages should be discussed with the property's events and food and beverage teams.

Audio-visual support is provided by The Windflower's in-house events team, though the precise equipment inventory — projectors, screens, microphones, video-conferencing capability — should be confirmed directly with the property. It is advisable to share your technical requirements with the events desk in advance so the team can prepare the appropriate setup. Additional equipment can often be arranged on request.

The Senate Room is an enclosed, formally configured space designed for structured professional sessions, which sets it apart from The Windflower Varca's larger banquet hall or outdoor venues that are more commonly used for weddings and social celebrations. Its name and design intent reflect a meeting-room sensibility — controlled environment, focused layout, and a professional atmosphere. This makes it the preferred choice for corporate groups who need a dedicated work setting within a leisure resort.

The Windflower Resorts & Spa Varca is a full-service resort property and typically provides parking for guests and visitors. Whether dedicated or valet parking is available for event attendees arriving separately from staying guests should be confirmed with the property directly. It is recommended that event organizers inform the resort in advance about the expected number of vehicles.

Varca is a coastal village in South Goa, situated on a quieter stretch of the shoreline away from the busier North Goa tourist belt. Dabolim Airport is the primary air gateway serving Goa and is the closest major airport to the property. The exact driving distance and travel time should be confirmed, as road conditions and routes can vary; the resort's guest services team can advise on transfers.

South Goa's relatively low-density, residential coastal character makes it a popular choice for corporate retreats where teams want to balance productive work sessions with leisure and wellness time. The Windflower Resorts & Spa Varca sits in this tranquil environment, allowing delegates to transition from focused meetings in the Senate Room to beach access and resort amenities. Goa is one of India's most consistently chosen destinations for incentive travel and off-site programmes.

Whether external decorators or event management agencies are permitted to work in the Senate Room is a policy decision rested with The Windflower Resorts & Spa Varca management. Sharing the technical requirements early allows the team to ensure the right setup is in place on the day.
