Hi-Tech convention center

Yes, the convention center is a popular choice for destination weddings and receptions, offering a covered, weatherproof space within the forested resort setting of Vythiri, Wayanad. The venue's combination of professional event infrastructure and a scenic jungle backdrop gives wedding celebrations a distinctive character that is difficult to replicate in an urban hotel. The resort's in-house events team can coordinate décor, catering, and ceremony logistics.

The Hi-Tech Convention Center is equipped with modern audio-visual systems and presentation technology suited to corporate and large-format events. Specific equipment lists — including projector specifications, screen sizes, microphone setups, and connectivity options — should be confirmed directly with the Vythiri Village Resort events team, as configurations may vary by event type and requirement.

The convention center supports flexible seating configurations that can be arranged to suit the nature of the event, whether that is theatre-style for a plenary session, classroom layout for a workshop, or banquet rounds for a celebration dinner. The events team works with organisers ahead of the event to agree on the most effective setup. Requests for specific arrangements should be discussed during the planning stage.

For accurate capacity numbers suited to your event format, it is best to reach out to the Vythiri Village Resort events team with your setup preference.

The Hi-Tech Convention Center is an indoor venue, providing a covered and weatherproof space for events — an important consideration given Wayanad's tropical climate and monsoon seasons. Whether the space is fully air-conditioned or climate-controlled should be confirmed with the resort directly, as specifications can differ between event spaces within the property.

Calicut International Airport (Kozhikode) is the most convenient air gateway for guests travelling to Vythiri Village Resort, with the resort accessible by road through the Wayanad hills. The exact road distance and typical travel time from the airport should be confirmed with the resort, which can also assist in arranging transfers or providing directions for self-drive guests.

Room availability during your event dates and group booking arrangements should be discussed with the resort's reservations team when planning the event.

One of the strongest draws of hosting a corporate event at the Hi-Tech Convention Center is the ability to pair a professional conference programme with team-building activities and leisure experiences within the same Wayanad property. Vythiri Village Resort's forested setting gives access to nature trails, plantation visits, and Wayanad's wider heritage and wildlife attractions. The events team can help structure an itinerary that balances working sessions with experiential activities.

Vythiri Village Resort is a road-accessible property in Vythiri, Wayanad, and parking availability for event guests is something that should be confirmed with the resort when planning your event. Given the resort's jungle setting and the volume of guests a convention-scale event can bring, early coordination with the events team on arrival logistics and parking is recommended.

Because Vythiri Village Resort is set within a forest environment in the Wayanad region, event organisers should discuss any noise-related requirements — such as live music, amplified sound, or late-evening programmes — with the resort's events team during the planning phase. The team can advise on what is permissible and help shape the event schedule accordingly to ensure a smooth experience for all guests.

Vythiri Village Resort's forested property offers scope to combine the Hi-Tech Convention Center with outdoor areas for multi-part events such as welcome receptions, al fresco dinners, or wedding ceremonies set against the natural landscape.
