Resorts in Alibaug

Alibaug's resort landscape currently lists 2 full-service retreats on Spalba, each positioned to deliver a self-contained event or leisure experience away from the city. The stock spans a wide capacity range — from intimate gatherings of 20 guests to larger assemblies of up to 500 — and the venues cluster in and around the Chaul locality, making this a cohesive destination rather than a scattered circuit.

The Resorts Available

The two resorts on Spalba's Alibaug roster represent distinct offerings. Taj Alibaug Resort & Spa brings the full-service hallmarks of the Taj brand to the Konkan coast, with multiple event spaces suited to corporate retreats, celebrations, and group getaways. Silvanus Forest Retreat, Alibaug takes a different approach — a forest-set environment that suits groups seeking an immersive, nature-forward setting. Together, they cover venue types including Oval, Pinnacle, Chancellor, Versatile, and Lawn configurations, giving planners meaningful choice in the kind of atmosphere they create.

Capacity: Matching the Right Resort to Your Group

Both resorts accommodate groups starting from as few as 20 guests, scaling up to a maximum of 500. Typical event sizing at these properties falls in the 100–250 guest range, which suits mid-scale corporate offsites, milestone celebrations, and social gatherings of moderate scale. Notably, the intimate-under-200 configuration is the dominant mode here, with 3 such spaces available across the two properties — making Alibaug's resorts particularly well-suited to curated, close-knit events rather than large-format conferences.

Where in Alibaug

The resort options on this list are concentrated in the Chaul area of Alibaug. Chaul's coastal and semi-rural character is a natural fit for full-service retreats — guests benefit from relative seclusion while still being within accessible distance of the broader Alibaug region. If venue location relative to Chaul is a deciding factor, Spalba's property pages carry precise location details and you can take a 3D virtual tour of select venues before making contact.
