Bhopal's resort landscape is intimate by design. Currently, Spalba lists one fully self-contained resort in the city — Jehan Numa Retreat, nestled in the leafy surrounds of Shyamla Hills. If you are seeking a self-contained, full-service leisure retreat for a private gathering, corporate off-site, or a curated celebration, this property represents Bhopal's dedicated resort offering on the platform.
The Resort on Spalba: What Jehan Numa Retreat Offers
Jehan Numa Retreat brings together two distinct event spaces under one roof — The Jasmine Room, a refined indoor venue, and a Lawn, suited for open-air occasions. This combination allows planners to stage both formal sessions and relaxed outdoor programmes within a single property, without the logistical complexity of moving guests between locations. The retreat's setting in Shyamla Hills lends it the seclusion and greenery that define a true resort experience, setting it apart from city-centre banquet halls or convention spaces.
Capacity: Who This Resort Is Best Suited For
Both spaces at Jehan Numa Retreat accommodate up to 100 guests, making the property well-matched for intimate gatherings rather than large-scale events. Whether you are hosting a curated corporate retreat, a private anniversary dinner, a pre-wedding function, or a small conference, the capacity here suits groups where personalised attention and a close-knit setting matter most. Planners expecting guest counts well above 100 should note that this resort is currently Bhopal's only listed resort on Spalba, and its two spaces are calibrated for smaller, more exclusive occasions.
Where in Bhopal: Shyamla Hills
Jehan Numa Retreat is located in Shyamla Hills, one of Bhopal's more verdant and elevated neighbourhoods. The area's quieter surroundings make it a natural fit for a retreat format — guests arrive away from the city's commercial bustle, which supports the focused, immersive atmosphere that resort events typically demand. For planners scouting locations in Bhopal, Shyamla Hills is the city's primary resort locality on the platform at this time.
