Jorethang's resort landscape is compact and deliberate: currently one fully verified, self-contained retreat is listed on Spalba, offering both indoor banquet and open lawn settings for groups of 150 to 250 guests. Situated in the Pipaley area of this South Sikkim town, the property brings together the essentials of a full-service leisure retreat — making it a practical destination for event organisers and leisure travellers alike who want to stay and gather in one place.
The Resort on Spalba
Club Mahindra Baiguney in Pipaley is the sole resort currently listed for Jorethang. It offers two distinct venue spaces — a Banquet Hall and a Lawn — giving planners the flexibility to host formal seated functions indoors or open-air gatherings on the grounds. The property functions as a self-contained retreat, meaning accommodation, event space, and leisure facilities are available under one roof, which reduces logistical coordination considerably for multi-day events or group stays.
Capacity Range to Plan Around
Club Mahindra Baiguney accommodates between 150 and 250 guests, placing it firmly in the mid-size gathering category. With a typical capacity of 150–250, the property is well-suited to corporate off-sites, family celebrations, and group retreats that require more than a small meeting room but do not need the scale of a large convention facility. The intimate-scale configuration — with one venue sitting under the 200-guest mark — makes it a particularly good fit for events where a close, managed atmosphere is a priority over sheer numbers.
Location: Pipaley, Jorethang
The resort is located in Pipaley, one of the recognised localities within the Jorethang area of South Sikkim. Pipaley's positioning offers access to the natural surroundings that define this part of Sikkim, which adds to the appeal of the Lawn space for outdoor event segments. For planners scouting resorts in Jorethang, Pipaley is the area to focus on. Spalba's listings allow you to explore the property's layout, including 3D virtual tours where available, before committing to a site visit.
