Katni's resort landscape currently features one listed property — Shahdar Jungle Resort - Katni — situated in the Shahdar locality. While the choice is singular, the property offers a self-contained, full-service retreat setting that suits gatherings looking for an immersive, nature-adjacent experience away from urban venues. For planners seeking a leisure-retreat format in this part of Madhya Pradesh, this is the defining option on the platform.
The Venue: What Shahdar Jungle Resort Brings to the Table
Shahdar Jungle Resort - Katni is categorised as a poolside venue, meaning the primary event and gathering spaces are oriented around an outdoor pool setting. This makes it well-suited for events where open-air ambience and natural surroundings are a deliberate part of the experience — think corporate off-sites, small milestone celebrations, or intimate family gatherings that benefit from a retreat atmosphere rather than a conventional banquet hall. Spalba's 3D virtual tour feature lets you walk through the space remotely before committing to a site visit.
Capacity: Built for Intimate Gatherings
Shahdar Jungle Resort - Katni accommodates up to 50 guests, with a minimum workable group size of 50. In practical terms, this is a venue calibrated for focused, close-knit events rather than large-scale functions. The entire resort's listed capacity sits comfortably in the intimate-under-200 bracket, making it a natural fit for small corporate retreats, private family occasions, or team-building engagements where a manageable group size and exclusive use of space are priorities. Planners expecting guest lists beyond this range will need to look beyond resort-format venues in Katni.
Location: The Shahdar Locality
The resort is located in Shahdar, on the outskirts of Katni, which is characteristic of jungle and nature resort properties — set apart from the city's commercial centre to preserve the retreat experience. For guests travelling from central Katni or arriving by train (Katni Junction being a major rail hub in the region), logistics to Shahdar should be factored into event planning. Confirming travel arrangements directly with the venue is advisable.
