Manjeri's resort landscape currently features one full-service retreat listed on Spalba — Malabar Heritage, located in the Kacherippadi locality. While the city's resort inventory is compact, this property offers a self-contained setting with both indoor and outdoor event spaces, making it a focused option for planners seeking a leisure-retreat backdrop for their occasion.
The Venue: What Malabar Heritage Offers
Malabar Heritage presents two distinct event spaces: a Lawn and a Banquet Hall. This combination gives event planners a degree of flexibility — the lawn suits open-air ceremonies, pre-function gatherings, or evening receptions, while the banquet hall provides a structured indoor alternative when a covered setting is required. Together, these venue types reflect the hallmark of a self-contained resort: the ability to host different segments of an event without guests needing to travel between locations.
Capacity: Planning Around 200 Guests
Both spaces at Malabar Heritage accommodate up to 200 guests, meaning this resort is best suited to mid-sized gatherings rather than very intimate affairs or large-scale banquets. If your event headcount falls close to 200 — whether a corporate offsite, a family celebration, or a social function — the capacity alignment here is precise. Events significantly above or below that mark may warrant a different category of venue entirely. Spalba's 3D virtual tours allow you to walk through the property remotely before committing to a site visit.
Location: Kacherippadi, Manjeri
Malabar Heritage sits in Kacherippadi, a locality within Manjeri. For guests travelling to the venue, Kacherippadi's positioning within the town makes it reasonably accessible from Manjeri's main transit points. When evaluating this resort, factor in guest convenience and any accommodation requirements that a self-contained retreat would need to fulfil.
