5 Star Hotels in Vadodara

Vadodara's luxury hotel landscape offers 5 properties spanning the city's most prominent commercial and hospitality corridors — Alkapuri, Sayajiganj, and Akota. From intimate boardrooms seating as few as 6 to grand event halls accommodating up to 1,000 guests, this segment covers the full spectrum of prestige-tier hosting. Whether you are planning a corporate leadership meet or a large-scale social celebration, the city's five-star stock brings full-service capability to each occasion.

The Venues Across Vadodara's Luxury Tier

The five properties in this segment represent some of the most recognised names in Indian hospitality. Vivanta Vadodara and Grand Mercure Vadodara Surya Palace bring internationally affiliated full-service credentials to the city. Sayaji Vadodara is a well-established multi-facility property, while Welcomhotel By ITC Hotels, Alkapuri, Vadodara and WelcomHotel Vadodara, Vadodara extend the ITC group's signature hospitality standard across two distinct addresses in the city.

Venue Spaces and Configuration Variety

Across these properties, the event spaces on offer include formats as varied as a Deck, Tropicana Greens, Tropicana Hall, Boardroom, Marigold, and Lotus — names that signal the breadth of indoor-outdoor and formal-social configurations available. This diversity means a single property can often host a morning boardroom session and an evening reception without requiring a change of venue. Planners looking for cohesive multi-format programming will find that flexibility built into the five-star offering here.

Matching Capacity to Your Event

The typical event space in this segment seats between 40 and 250 guests, which suits mid-scale corporate conferences, product launches, and social functions equally well. Of the available venue spaces, 18 are configured for gatherings under 200 — making intimate, high-touch formats the dominant use case. For larger requirements, 3 spaces can accommodate more than 600 guests, reaching the segment's ceiling of 1,000. At the other end, a minimum seating of 6 makes executive boardroom formats fully viable within the same properties.

Where These Hotels Sit in the City

Vadodara's five-star properties are concentrated across three localities: Alkapuri, Sayajiganj, and Akota. Alkapuri is home to the ITC Welcomhotel address and sits at the heart of the city's upscale commercial zone, making it particularly well-suited for corporate event planners. Sayajiganj and Akota offer additional options within easy reach of the city centre, each with strong connectivity for out-of-town guests and delegates.
