Capacity Guidance for Your Ceremony

The typical usable range across these venues sits between 150 and 1,500 guests, which covers most institutional convocation requirements. Eight of the listed venue configurations accommodate more than 600 attendees — relevant for university-level ceremonies with large graduating batches, families, and faculty. Six configurations seat fewer than 200, making them appropriate for smaller departmental or college-level graduation events. The absolute ceiling of 3,200 at the upper end of the Karnal stock is available for the largest ceremonies.

Where These Venues Are Located

Karnal's convocation venues cluster across three main localities. Sector 32 and Sector 14 are the primary nodes, both well-connected and easily accessible for guests travelling into the city. Railway Road provides an additional option with proximity to the rail terminus, which can be an important logistical consideration for outstation attendees and faculty arriving by train. Institutions shortlisting venues should factor in parking and access alongside the hall capacity.
