The Venue Mix in Tirupati

The range of venue types available reflects the diversity of convocation formats held in the city. AM Hotel Kollection: Manasa, Tirupati and Taj Tirupati offer established banquet halls and ballroom settings suited to the formality a graduation ceremony demands. Starlit Suites Tirupati and Fortune Select Grand Ridge - Member ITC Hotel Group bring additional ballroom and banquet capacity into the mix, while Kences Hotel and Golden Tulip, Tirupati round out the options with their own dedicated event spaces. The presence of boardroom-format venues also makes smaller departmental ceremonies practical.

Capacity Guidance

Capacities across these venues run from as few as 8 to a maximum of 1,000, with the typical working range sitting between 40 and 300 guests — well suited to faculty-department level ceremonies, postgraduate cohorts, and mid-sized institutional events. Thirteen of the listed spaces accommodate fewer than 200 attendees, making the city's venue stock particularly strong for intimate graduation gatherings. Two venues can host over 600 guests, which covers larger all-university convocations where a single hall needs to seat degree recipients, faculty, and families together.

Where Venues Are Located

Tirupati's convocation-capable venues are distributed across several distinct localities. Mangalam and Tiruchanur hold a share of the listed properties, while Shilparamam, Kothapalli, Tata Nagar, and Jeevakona each feature venues with event infrastructure. Properties are also present in T.P. Area, Korramenugunta, and Srinivasa Nagar, so institutions based in different parts of the city can usually find a venue within a reasonable distance of their campus.
