The Venue: What Cherthala Currently Offers
The single corporate venue available in Cherthala is KTDC Kumarakom Gateway, a property managed under the Kerala Tourism Development Corporation banner. Its primary event space is a Lawn, making it well suited to open-air corporate functions — think team-building days, informal leadership gatherings, product launches with an outdoor format, or networking events that benefit from a scenic, open environment. It is the only verified corporate venue in the Cherthala listing at this time.
Capacity Guidance
KTDC Kumarakom Gateway accommodates up to 150 guests, placing it firmly in the intimate-to-mid-size bracket. If your business event — whether a team offsite, a client engagement session, or a staff recognition function — involves a group of around 150 or fewer, this property is a capacity match. There are no large-format (600+) corporate venues currently listed for Cherthala, so organisers planning conferences or conventions for larger delegate counts should explore adjacent categories.
Where This Venue Is Located
The property sits in Thanneermukkom, a locality in the Cherthala region known for its proximity to the Vembanad Lake backwaters. For delegates travelling from Kochi or other parts of Alappuzha district, Thanneermukkom is reasonably accessible and offers a setting that distinctly separates a business event from the everyday office environment — which many teams find valuable for offsite programmes.
