Corporate Venues in Shillong

Shillong's corporate venue landscape spans 4 properties, ranging from polished hotel conference facilities in the heart of Police Bazar to lakeside retreat settings near Umsaw. Whether your requirement is an intimate leadership off-site or a mid-scale product launch, the city's current stock covers capacities from 10 up to 430 guests — with most venues comfortably serving groups between 50 and 190 participants.

The Venues Available

The four properties listed on Spalba offer a meaningful variety of environments. Hotel Polo Towers, Shillong is a well-established city-centre hotel that hosts business gatherings across multiple setups. Woodstock Farmhouse, Shillong brings a distinctive farmhouse character suited for corporate retreats and away-days. Courtyard by Marriott Shillong provides the structured, internationally recognised hospitality infrastructure that many corporate organisers prefer, while Courtyard Shillong rounds out the selection with additional hall options.

Spaces and Formats Within These Venues

Across the four properties, the specific spaces on offer include the Pavilion Hall, The Den Board Room, Lawn, Woodstock Banquet Hall, Umiam Ballroom, and Nohkalikai — a spread that covers boardroom-style sessions, banquet configurations, and open-air formats within a single search. The Den Board Room is a natural fit for executive meetings demanding privacy and focus, whereas the Umiam Ballroom and Woodstock Banquet Hall scale up comfortably for all-hands sessions or formal dinners tied to a business programme.

Matching Capacity to Your Event

All 13 intimate-configuration spaces catalogued here seat fewer than 200 guests, and none of the properties currently lists a hall exceeding 600 capacity — meaning Shillong's corporate venue stock is oriented toward focused, mid-scale business events rather than large conventions. A team workshop of 10 is as well served as a company conference of 430; the typical booking, however, falls in the 50–190 range. Organisers planning formats at either extreme of that scale should verify hall-specific configurations directly through the venue listings on Spalba, where 3D virtual tours are available for select properties.

Where to Find Venues

The two principal locality clusters are Police Bazar — the commercial centre of Shillong — and Umsaw on the outskirts, which offers a quieter, scenic backdrop. Depending on delegate travel logistics and the nature of the event, both clusters present distinct practical advantages.
