Party Halls in Cherthala

Cherthala's backwater setting shapes its party hall stock in a way few other towns in Kerala can match. Spalba currently lists 2 verified venues for general social celebrations here, spanning capacities from 150 to 900 guests. Both properties sit close to the waterways that define this stretch of Alappuzha district, and together they cover venue types ranging from open lawns and a main lawn to a sabha hall and an amphitheatre — an unusually varied mix for a town of this size.

The Venues on the List

KTDC Kumarakom Gateway and Plumeria Lake Resort & Spa are the two properties currently available through Spalba for party hall bookings in Cherthala. KTDC Kumarakom Gateway brings the credibility of a government hospitality brand along with a range of event spaces. Plumeria Lake Resort & Spa adds a resort-style setting with its own distinct ambience for celebrations. Between them, these venues offer lawns, a sabha hall, a main lawn, and an amphitheatre — meaning the format of your gathering, whether seated indoors or open-air, can be matched to a real space.

Capacity: What This City's Stock Can Accommodate

The typical capacity range across party halls in Cherthala runs from 180 to 900 guests. The lower end — venues accommodating under 200 guests — accounts for 2 of the listed spaces, making Cherthala well-suited to moderately sized social celebrations. For larger gatherings, one space scales up to 900, which is sufficient for sizable family or community events. The absolute minimum intake starts at 150, so even slightly smaller groups will find an option that does not leave the room feeling cavernous. When shortlisting, match your confirmed headcount against these figures before committing to a venue type.

Where These Venues Are Located

The party halls listed on Spalba for Cherthala are located across two localities: Thanneermukkom and Vayalar. Thanneermukkom, known for the longest lake bund in India, gives celebrations an unmistakably scenic backdrop. Vayalar, similarly set against the backwaters, offers a quieter pocket of Cherthala with easy access for guests travelling along the coastal belt. Knowing which locality works best for your guest base is a practical first step when filtering options.

More Specific Celebration Needs

If your event is a birthday celebration, a more focused search on birthday-party-halls in Cherthala will surface venues suited to that format. Smaller gatherings are better served through small-party-halls. For events that require exclusivity, private-party-venues is the right category, while evening events with a drinks-and-mingling format belong under cocktail-party-venues.
