Party Halls in Chilika

Chilika's party hall landscape is anchored by a single, well-appointed lakeside property that offers a surprisingly diverse range of event spaces — six distinct venues within one resort, accommodating gatherings from an intimate 25 guests to a sizeable 500. If you are planning a seated social celebration beside one of India's most iconic lagoons, this concentrated but capable stock deserves a close look.

The Venue on Offer

Swosti Chilika Resort, located in Odia Alapur, is the sole party hall option in Chilika on Spalba. What it lacks in number it makes up for in variety: the property houses six distinct event spaces — Ektara Lawn, Tanger Lawn, Maple 1, Mahogany, Chestnut, and Shehnai Lawn. This mix of covered banquet halls and open lawns means hosts can choose between an indoor seated format or an alfresco setting depending on the nature of their celebration. Spalba's 3D virtual tours allow you to walk through these spaces before committing to one.

Capacity Range: Matching the Space to Your Guest List

The six venues at Swosti Chilika Resort span a capacity of 25 to 500 guests, with a typical working range of 70 to 260. Three of the spaces are suited to intimate gatherings of under 200, making them well-matched for mid-sized family celebrations, reunion dinners, or social milestone events where a more personal atmosphere is the priority. None of the venues are configured for very large assemblies exceeding 600, so planners expecting particularly large turnouts should verify specific hall configurations directly on the listing.

Location: Odia Alapur

All party hall options in Chilika currently sit within the Odia Alapur locality, placing your event venue close to the Chilika Lake shoreline. This lakeside setting gives celebrations a distinctive backdrop that is difficult to replicate in an urban hotel or standalone banquet facility — a meaningful differentiator for hosts who want the event environment itself to feel special.
