Private Party Venues in Wayanad

Wayanad lists 5 private party venues on Spalba, spanning resort properties across localities such as Lakkidi, Kalpetta, and Manjoora. The mix leans strongly toward boutique retreat-style resorts — places where you take over a dedicated space entirely, away from the crowds of the hill district's busier tourist stretches. Whether you are planning a family celebration, a corporate gathering in the hills, or an intimate get-together, the stock here is purpose-suited for exclusive-use events.

A Diverse Set of Venue Spaces

The five properties on Spalba — Arayal Resort-A Unit of Sharoy Resort, Oshin Wayanad, Taj Wayanad Resort & Spa Kerala, Feel Free Retreat by Dimora, Wayanad, and Abad Brookside Lakkidi, Wayanad — collectively offer a range of venue formats. These include open-air options like the Arayal Lawn and an Open Air Theater, rooftop settings such as the Oshin Rooftop Banquet on the 5th floor, enclosed banquet halls including the Oshin Banquet Hall on the ground floor, and dedicated dining spaces like Silver Oak 1 and Southern Spice at the Taj property. This variety means you can choose a setting that matches the atmosphere you want — whether open skies or a well-appointed indoor hall.

Matching Guest Count to the Right Space

Capacity across these venues runs from 16 at the smallest to 750 at the largest, giving planners genuine flexibility. The typical sweet spot across this set sits between 80 and 160 guests, which reflects the dominant character of Wayanad's private-hire stock — mid-sized resort spaces suited to family functions, milestone celebrations, and smaller corporate offsites. Of the 11 bookable spaces catalogued, 10 cater to groups under 200, making this a particularly strong destination for intimate-to-mid-scale events. Only one space scales above 600 guests, so hosts planning a very large gathering should confirm capacity details carefully before shortlisting.

Where Venues Are Located Across Wayanad

The five properties are spread across distinct pockets of the district. Manjoora, Madathumpadi near Kalpetta, Thariyode, Kavumannam, and Lakkidi each host at least one listed venue. Lakkidi — a misty ridge on the Thamarassery Ghat road — is home to Abad Brookside, while the Kalpetta corridor offers more accessible options for guests travelling from the district's main town. This spread allows planners to match the venue's setting and accessibility to their guest list's travel convenience.
