MAIN LAWN

Yes, the Main Lawn's open-air expanse is well suited to hosting multi-function wedding celebrations. The space can be divided into distinct zones to accommodate a baraat procession, a phera mandap, a cocktail lounge, and a dinner setup simultaneously. Families planning a multi-function wedding are encouraged to speak directly with the events team to map out the layout and scheduling across functions.

The Main Lawn is an open-air outdoor venue set within the grounds of Modi Estate. It offers a natural, open-sky setting that is bright and airy during the day and atmospheric in the evening. Since the space is outdoors, clients planning events during monsoon season or extreme weather should discuss contingency arrangements with the venue team.

As an open-air lawn in Meerut, the space is best suited to the cooler months from October through March, which are typically the peak season for outdoor events in western Uttar Pradesh. The summer months can bring high temperatures, and the monsoon season brings the possibility of rain. Prospective clients should discuss weather contingency options — such as tent or shamiana coverage — directly with the events team at the time of booking.

AM Hotel Kollection brings hotel-grade culinary expertise to events at the Main Lawn, and the property's events team coordinates catering as part of its event services. The specifics of menu options, live counters, and catering packages are best confirmed directly with the events and banqueting team before booking.

Policies on external vendors can vary and may depend on the nature of the event and the specific services required. Clients wishing to use outside caterers, decorators, or other vendors should confirm the property's vendor policy directly with the events team to understand what is permitted and whether any associated fees apply.

The AM Hotel Kollection events team coordinates décor, audio-visual, and lighting arrangements for events held at the Main Lawn. The open-air setting allows for a wide range of decorative styles, from traditional floral mandaps for weddings to branded stage setups for corporate events. Clients should share their brief with the events team early to ensure all technical and décor requirements are planned well in advance.

Modi Estate's grounds include parking facilities to accommodate the guest volumes that a large open-air lawn event typically draws. The estate's driveway and overall premises are designed to handle significant guest traffic. For very large gatherings, it is advisable to confirm parking capacity and any managed parking or valet arrangements directly with the property.

Modi Estate – AM Hotel Kollection is a hotel property, which means guest rooms are available on-site for outstation attendees. This is a practical advantage for multi-day weddings and corporate retreats, as guests can stay on the same premises as the event venue. Room availability and group booking rates should be confirmed with the reservations team.

Meerut is located in the National Capital Region belt and is well connected to Delhi and neighbouring cities such as Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Muzaffarnagar via national highways. Most guests travelling from Delhi reach Meerut by road, which is a common and well-established route. The exact travel time depends on traffic and the point of origin in Delhi; guests are advised to factor in peak-hour road conditions when planning travel.

The Main Lawn is a large open-air space capable of accommodating substantial guest counts, as is characteristic of a property of Modi Estate's scale. However, exact capacity figures for different seating configurations — such as banquet, theatre, or cocktail — should be requested directly from the events team, as these can vary based on setup style and event requirements.

Pricing for events at the Main Lawn depends on factors such as the date, guest count, duration, catering requirements, and additional services needed. The AM Hotel Kollection events team provides customised quotes based on a client's specific brief. Reaching out through the official website at amhotelkollection.com/modiestate or contacting the property directly is the best way to begin the enquiry process.

Booking procedures, advance deposit requirements, and cancellation or rescheduling terms are managed by the AM Hotel Kollection events team and may vary depending on the event type and date. Clients are advised to review all terms carefully at the time of enquiry and to confirm any flexibility provisions — particularly around peak wedding season dates — directly with the property before signing an agreement.

AM Hotel Kollection's events team works alongside clients to coordinate the various elements of an event held at the Main Lawn, including catering, décor, AV, and logistics. Whether a dedicated single point of contact is assigned throughout the planning process is best confirmed at the time of booking. Having a hotel-backed team on-site is a notable advantage for managing large-scale or multi-function events.
