Pool Side

The Pool Side is an open-air, outdoor venue set within the resort grounds at Chances Casino Resort in Durgavado, Goa. This gives it a naturally lush and tropical character but also means weather conditions can affect the event experience. Prospective hosts should ask the venue about contingency arrangements in case of unseasonal rain.

The October-to-March window is widely considered the most favourable period for outdoor events in Goa, offering cooler temperatures and reliable dry-weather conditions. Evening events during these months tend to be particularly comfortable for guests. Bookings outside this season are possible, though weather contingency planning becomes more important.

As a full-service resort, Chances Casino Resort has its own food and beverage operations that typically support events held on the property. Whether the Pool Side venue requires guests to use in-house catering exclusively or permits external vendors should be confirmed with the resort's events team before finalising arrangements.

Yes, Chances Casino Resort offers guest room accommodation on the property, which means attendees can stay at the same resort where the event is being held. This eliminates the need for separate hotel blocks or inter-venue transportation, significantly simplifying logistics for both the host and guests. Room availability and group booking rates should be discussed with the resort directly.

One of the practical advantages of hosting at Chances Casino Resort is that guests have access to the resort's casino, leisure, and dining facilities before or after the Pool Side event. This makes the venue particularly attractive for corporate incentive groups and social gatherings where extended entertainment is part of the programme. Event planners should confirm with the resort which facilities are accessible to event guests.

The Pool Side venue suits corporate sundowners, team outings, and informal networking evenings, especially for groups travelling on incentive trips or attending conferences at the resort. The combination of a relaxed outdoor setting and the resort's casino entertainment nearby makes it a strong choice for corporate social programmes. Groups with specific AV or presentation requirements should discuss technical support options with the events team.

Chances Casino Resort is located in Durgavado, Goa, India — a destination that is accessible via Goa International Airport and major road connections linking it to other parts of Goa and the broader Indian transport network. The resort's Goa address is a draw in itself for guests travelling from metropolitan cities, adding a destination leisure dimension to any event. Exact travel times and transfer arrangements should be confirmed with the resort.

As a resort property, Chances Casino Resort is expected to have parking facilities available for guests and event attendees. Whether dedicated parking is arranged for large Pool Side events, and any associated charges or valet services, should be confirmed with the venue team when booking.

The Pool Side's open-air tropical setting provides a naturally appealing base that can be enhanced with floral arrangements, lighting, and themed décor. Whether the resort provides in-house décor packages or works with preferred external vendors is something that should be discussed with the events team. Many resort venues in Goa have a panel of empanelled vendors they can recommend.

For events such as sundowners, corporate evenings, and sangeet ceremonies, audio-visual and sound support is a common requirement at the Pool Side. Prospective bookers should check with Chances Casino Resort regarding available AV equipment, any noise restrictions that apply to the outdoor venue, and curfew timings for amplified music.

As an open-air venue, the Pool Side may be subject to local noise regulations and any curfew rules applicable in the Durgavado area of Goa. These can affect the permitted end time for amplified music and live performances. Event planners should clarify the applicable curfew timings with Chances Casino Resort before scheduling entertainment.

Interested planners can contact the Chances Casino Resort events team directly through the resort to request availability for their preferred date and receive a customised quotation based on guest count, catering requirements, and setup needs. It is advisable to enquire well in advance, especially for dates falling within Goa's peak October-to-March season.

The Pool Side's open-air resort setting and the property's on-site accommodation and entertainment facilities make it a viable option for destination wedding functions such as cocktail evenings, sangeet nights, or mehendi ceremonies. For couples planning multi-day celebrations, having the casino resort's full hospitality infrastructure on-site adds convenience for outstation guests. Specific capacity, décor, and multi-event package details should be discussed with the resort's wedding planning team.

Unlike a standalone banquet facility, the Pool Side sits within a full-service resort that combines accommodation, dining, a casino, and leisure amenities under one roof. This self-contained setup means guests, hosts, and planners can manage the entire event experience — from rooms and meals to entertainment — through a single property. The tropical open-air poolside setting also adds a natural ambience that a conventional banquet hall interior cannot replicate.
