The Ballroom

Yes, The Ballroom is a climate-controlled indoor venue, which sets it apart from the many open-air and lawn-based event spaces common across Goa. This makes it a reliable option regardless of weather conditions, including during Goa's monsoon season. It is worth confirming the specific HVAC specifications and any seasonal considerations directly with the property.

Capacity will vary depending on the event format and seating configuration — for example, a theatre-style setup will accommodate more guests than a banquet round-table arrangement. The events team at Chances Casino Resort can provide exact capacity figures for each layout type upon enquiry.

Chances Casino Resort is an integrated resort property, which means accommodation is available on-site for guests attending events at The Ballroom. This is particularly convenient for destination weddings and multi-day corporate retreats, where outstation guests benefit from staying within the same campus. Room availability and block-booking options for event groups should be confirmed directly with the reservations team.

The integrated resort-and-casino format means that wedding guests have accommodation, dining, and entertainment all in one place, reducing the logistical complexity for hosts. Goa's popularity as a destination wedding location is well established, and having a formal ballroom within a full-service resort campus means the venue can support multi-day celebrations with ease. The property's existing hospitality infrastructure also ensures that banquet service is a well-practised operation.

The resort operates its own food and beverage infrastructure that serves its casino, restaurant, and event guests, and in-house catering is available for Ballroom events. Whether external caterers are permitted is a vendor policy that can change, so prospective clients should check the current policy with the events team at the time of enquiry.

The Ballroom supports multiple seating and floor configurations, including rounds for gala dinners, classroom or theatre rows for corporate sessions, and open floor plans for dancing or cocktail-style receptions. The events team can advise on which configurations are available and what is best suited to a particular event type and guest count.

As a resort property, Chances Casino Resort has on-campus parking, which is a practical advantage for events where guests arrive by private vehicle or cab. Specific details about parking capacity, valet services, and any charges should be confirmed with the property directly before the event date.

The property is located in Durgavado, Goa, and is accessible via local taxi services and app-based cab platforms from both Dabolim Airport and the Manohar International Airport at Mopa. Railway travellers arriving at major Goan stations can also reach the resort by cab. It is advisable to check travel time estimates based on the specific arrival point, as distances vary across Goa.

Details about in-house audio-visual equipment, projection systems, lighting rigs, and technical support are best confirmed directly with the events team, as available inventory can vary and may be updated over time. Event planners with specific AV requirements should share a technical rider with the venue well in advance of the event date.

As an integrated resort with established banquet and event operations, the property is experienced in supporting events of varying scales and formats. Prospective clients are encouraged to reach out to the events team early in the planning process to understand the level of on-ground coordination support available.

Yes, The Ballroom's adaptable layout and the resort's broader amenities make it a practical venue for corporate off-sites, conferences, training sessions, and product launches. The combination of a structured event space and a resort environment helps delegates engage productively while benefiting from a change of setting from a typical urban conference centre.

Décor and floral vendor policies vary by property and can be subject to change. Prospective clients should discuss their décor vision with the Chances Casino Resort events team to understand which services are offered in-house and which require an approved or independently arranged external vendor.

Interested clients can reach out to Chances Casino Resort through the contact channels on the official website at indyhotels.in to check availability and begin a booking discussion. It is advisable to enquire well in advance, particularly for popular wedding dates and long-weekend corporate retreats, as resort ballrooms in Goa can book up during peak seasons.

The casino is a separate operational area within the Chances Casino Resort property, distinct from The Ballroom event space. For event hosts, this means that the ballroom functions as a self-contained venue, while the casino provides additional entertainment for guests who wish to explore the wider resort. Any specific questions about how the casino interfaces with private event bookings should be directed to the resort's events team.
