Pre-Function Area (Laguna Ballroom)

The Pre-Function Area is designed to complement and work in conjunction with the Laguna Ballroom rather than as a standalone event space. Prospective clients should confirm booking arrangements directly with the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore events team, as availability and configuration options may vary by event type and date.

The space is well-suited for cocktail receptions, wedding welcome zones, corporate delegate registration, product launch foyers, and networking lounges. Its position directly outside the Laguna Ballroom makes it ideal for creating a two-stage event journey — for example, a champagne arrival reception followed by a gala dinner inside the ballroom.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore provides in-house food and beverage offerings that can be extended into the Pre-Function Area as part of an overall event package. Catering setups such as cocktail stations, canape service, and beverage counters are commonly coordinated here. Specific menus and catering arrangements should be discussed with the hotel's events and catering team.

Audiovisual support can be arranged for the Pre-Function Area in coordination with the hotel's events team. This is particularly useful for branding displays, welcome screens, and background music during arrival and cocktail segments. The exact AV inventory and setup options are best confirmed directly with the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore events department.

For weddings, the Pre-Function Area provides a natural and elegant separation between the cocktail hour and the main banquet inside the Laguna Ballroom, allowing couples to craft a two-act celebration. Guests can gather, mingle, and enjoy welcome drinks in this dedicated zone before being ushered into the ballroom for the dinner and programme. The hotel's wedding planning team can assist with décor and catering coordination across both spaces.

Yes, the space can be configured with bespoke décor, floral arrangements, branded installations, and signage to align with an event's theme or corporate identity. The Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore events team works with organisers to ensure the pre-function setup complements the overall look and feel of the event. Specific décor vendors and restrictions should be confirmed during the planning process.

The hotel is located within the Laguna Golf Green precinct in the Pasir Ris area of eastern Singapore. It is accessible by car, taxi, and ride-hailing services via major expressways, and is also within driving distance of Changi Airport. Event organisers are encouraged to share detailed directions with guests in advance, as the golf course precinct address differs from a typical city-centre hotel.

Parking is available on the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore property grounds, which is a practical advantage for events with a large number of guests arriving by car. The specific parking capacity, charges, and any valet arrangements should be confirmed with the hotel directly when finalising event logistics.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is set within the Laguna Golf Green, a lush golf course precinct that gives the property a distinctly resort-like character compared to city-centre event venues. Arriving guests experience a green, open environment that creates a memorable and unhurried first impression. This setting adds a sense of occasion and exclusivity that many event planners cite as a key reason for choosing the venue.

For corporate events, the Pre-Function Area is commonly configured as a delegate registration and information point, with space for exhibition booths, sponsor displays, and refreshment stations. Its direct connection to the Laguna Ballroom allows smooth transitions between networking sessions and main conference proceedings. The events team can advise on optimal layout configurations to manage crowd flow efficiently.

Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore is a hotel property and does offer guest accommodation alongside its event facilities. This makes it convenient for multi-day conferences, destination weddings, or events where out-of-town guests need overnight stays. Room block arrangements and group rates for event attendees should be discussed with the hotel's reservations or events team.

Popular event dates — particularly weekends for weddings and major conference seasons — tend to book up well in advance at sought-after hotel venues. It is generally advisable to begin discussions with the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore events team as early as possible to secure preferred dates. The team can provide information on current availability and any holding or provisional booking processes.

Prospective clients are encouraged to contact the Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore events team directly to discuss event requirements, preferred dates, and catering and setup needs, after which a tailored proposal can be prepared. Pricing will vary depending on the event type, number of guests, catering selections, and additional services required. Reaching out via the hotel's official website at dusit.com is a reliable starting point.

The Pre-Function Area's open-format layout makes it suitable for product launches and brand activations that benefit from a transitional, high-footfall space adjacent to the main ballroom. Branded installations, display stands, and experiential setups can be accommodated, with logistics coordinated through the hotel's events team. Specific load-in arrangements, power requirements, and setup timelines should be discussed during the planning stage.
