Poolside

The Poolside is an open-air, outdoor venue set around the hotel's pool area, which makes weather a relevant planning consideration in Hyderabad. Prospective bookers should speak directly with Ellaa Hotel's events team about contingency arrangements, such as temporary canopy or marquee solutions, particularly if planning an event during the monsoon season.

The space is designed to come alive in the evening, with the pool's reflections and ambient lighting creating a visually dramatic setting after sundown. This makes it a popular choice for cocktail nights and dinner receptions where atmosphere is as important as the event format. Specific lighting rigs or enhancements should be confirmed with the events team when discussing setup requirements.

Yes, the Poolside is a strong fit for pre-wedding and wedding-adjacent functions including mehendi ceremonies, cocktail evenings, and post-wedding brunches. The open-air canvas is well suited to floral installations, draping, and decorative lighting that wedding stylists typically deploy. Couples should discuss décor policies and setup windows with the hotel's events team during the planning process.

Catering for Poolside events is managed by Ellaa Hotel's in-house team, keeping food and beverage quality consistent with the property's hospitality standards. Specific menus, beverage packages, and any policies around external catering or personal alcohol should be confirmed directly with the hotel before finalising the booking.

Exact capacity figures for the Poolside depend on the event format — seated dinners, cocktail-style receptions, and mixed setups all accommodate different numbers of guests. The hotel's events team can provide precise capacity details for the layout and configuration that best suits your event.

Ellaa Hotel is located in Gachibowli, one of Hyderabad's leading technology and business hubs, with strong road connectivity to HITEC City, the Financial District, and surrounding residential areas. The neighbourhood's well-developed infrastructure means most guests travelling from central Hyderabad or nearby corporate campuses can reach the venue with minimal difficulty.

Gachibowli is connected to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport via the Outer Ring Road, making the hotel relatively accessible for guests arriving from out of town or abroad. The exact travel time will vary depending on traffic conditions, and guests are advised to check current route options before travelling.

Yes, Ellaa Hotel is a full-service hotel property, so guests can book rooms on-site — a practical advantage for events with outstation attendees or late-night functions where arranging post-event transport is inconvenient. Room availability and rates should be confirmed with the reservations team alongside the event booking.

The Poolside is well suited for corporate social events, informal networking sessions, and client entertainment evenings where a relaxed, open-air environment is preferable to a conference room. The Gachibowli location also makes it a convenient choice for technology and finance sector companies based in or around the Financial District and HITEC City.

The open-air nature of the Poolside gives decorators considerable creative scope for elements like fairy lights, floral installations, and draped canopies. Whether external vendors are permitted or whether the hotel works with an approved list is something prospective bookers should clarify with the events team when enquiring.

As a hotel property in Gachibowli, Ellaa Hotel is expected to have parking facilities for guests. The precise capacity and any valet arrangements should be confirmed with the hotel directly, particularly for larger events where multiple vehicles will need to be accommodated simultaneously.

Outdoor venues in urban neighbourhoods such as Gachibowli are typically subject to local noise regulations that can affect music volumes and event end times. Bookers should ask Ellaa Hotel's events team about applicable curfew timings and sound restrictions when planning events with live music or DJ setups.

Pricing and availability for the Poolside are best confirmed by getting in touch with Ellaa Hotel's events or banqueting team directly. Costs will depend on the date, guest count, catering requirements, and any additional services required, so sharing event details upfront will help the team provide an accurate proposal.

Technical requirements for outdoor events — such as sound systems, projectors, or screens — vary based on the event type, and not all outdoor poolside venues carry permanent AV installations. Bookers should discuss their specific AV needs with the hotel's events team at the time of enquiry to understand what is available in-house and what may need to be sourced externally.
