Terrace + Poolside Area

Yes, the poolside and terrace setting is a popular choice for pre-wedding functions such as mehendi and sangeet evenings, where a lively, decorative outdoor atmosphere enhances the occasion. The water-side backdrop and open sky make for a visually rich environment that suits the celebratory mood of these functions. Couples should speak with the events team about décor packages and timing availability for their chosen dates.

Specific capacity figures for the Terrace + Poolside Area have not been independently confirmed and will depend on the event format — seated dinners, cocktail-style receptions, and theatre-style arrangements each yield different numbers. It is best to contact the Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts events team directly with your expected guest count so they can confirm the appropriate layout and whether the space is the right fit.

The poolside setting, with its water reflections and open terrace, is well regarded as a photogenic backdrop for standout moments such as first entries, cake-cutting, and group photographs. Many couples and event hosts choose this space precisely because it offers visuals that a conventional indoor ballroom cannot replicate. The events team can help plan the timing of these moments to make the most of the available lighting conditions, whether natural or artificial.

The open-air format of the Terrace + Poolside Area allows for a wide range of décor treatments, including draping, floral arrangements, fairy lights, lanterns, and themed lighting installations. Because the space spans both the terrace and the poolside zone, décor can be layered across two distinct areas to create different moods within the same event. Specific empanelled decorators or in-house décor packages should be confirmed directly with the hotel's events team.

Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts is a full-service hotel property, so in-house catering is expected to be available for events held at the Terrace + Poolside Area. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a policy detail that clients should confirm with the events team, as this can vary depending on the nature and scale of the function. Menu customisation and cuisine preferences are best discussed during the initial booking consultation.

Faridabad's climate follows the broader Delhi-NCR pattern, where the cooler months from approximately October through February tend to be the most comfortable and popular for outdoor events. Summers in the region can be very hot, and the monsoon season brings humidity and rain, which are important considerations for an open-air venue. The hotel's events team can discuss contingency arrangements and recommend the most suitable window for a given event type.

As an open-air venue, the Terrace + Poolside Area is exposed to weather conditions, so contingency planning is an important part of event preparation. Clients should ask the Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts events team about available indoor backup options or temporary shelter solutions that can be arranged if needed. Confirming this in advance as part of the booking agreement is strongly recommended.

Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts is located in Kail Gaon, Faridabad, Haryana, within the Delhi-NCR region. Faridabad is well connected to Delhi and Gurugram via National Highway 19 and other major roads, making it accessible by private vehicle and cab services from across the NCR. Guests travelling from outside the region can use the hotel's Faridabad location as a quieter base while remaining within reach of the capital.

As a hotel property, Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts is expected to have parking facilities available for event guests. The precise capacity and any valet arrangements should be confirmed with the events or front-desk team when planning for larger gatherings where vehicle volume may be significant.

Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts is a hotel property, meaning on-site guest rooms are available for those who wish to stay on the premises. This is particularly convenient for outstation guests and the hosting family during multi-day event programmes such as wedding functions spread across several days. Room availability and group booking rates should be arranged with the reservations team alongside the event booking.

Outdoor event venues in India are generally subject to local municipal noise regulations, which typically set limits on amplified sound after certain hours. Clients planning events with live music, DJs, or sound systems at the Terrace + Poolside Area should confirm the applicable curfew timings and any hotel-specific sound policies directly with the events team before finalising the programme.

Whether the terrace and poolside zones can be booked independently or only as a combined space is a configuration detail that the Golden Galaxy Hotels & Resorts events team can clarify. Depending on the size and format of the event, using one section or both may be appropriate, and the team can advise on the best arrangement for a given guest count and occasion type.

Specific details about in-house AV equipment — such as sound systems, projectors, screens, or microphone setups — for the Terrace + Poolside Area should be confirmed with the hotel's events team. Outdoor AV setups often require specialist equipment to account for open-air acoustics, so clarifying what is provided versus what needs to be arranged externally is an important early step in event planning.
