Surajkund
The Surajkund Ancient Reservoir (literally "Lake of the Sun") is a 10th-century artificial water tank located on the Southern Delhi Ridge of the Aravalli range in Faridabad, Haryana, roughly 8 kilometers from South Delhi. Built by King Suraj Pal of the Tomara Rajput dynasty, the stepped, semicircular structure is a prominent marvel of medieval Indian water engineering.
