Pool Side

The Pool Side is an outdoor, open-air venue set within the hotel grounds adjacent to the pool area. Because it is uncovered, weather conditions are a factor when planning events, and organisers are advised to discuss contingency arrangements — such as canopy or tent options — directly with the Hotel Ritz Plaza events team.

Specific capacity figures for the Pool Side depend on the seating arrangement and event format chosen, and have not been independently confirmed in publicly available sources. Prospective organisers should contact the Hotel Ritz Plaza events team directly to get accurate numbers for their preferred layout.

Hotel Ritz Plaza is a full-service hotel with its own catering and hospitality infrastructure, which is typically made available for events hosted at the property. The specific menus, cuisine options, and packages available for Pool Side events should be confirmed with the hotel's catering or banqueting team when making an enquiry.

Yes, wedding functions such as sangeet evenings, mehendi ceremonies, and cocktail receptions are among the most popular events hosted at the Pool Side. The open-air setting naturally supports movement, live music, and decorative theming that these occasions typically require. The hotel's events team can assist with planning décor, layout, and catering for such functions.

Hotel Ritz Plaza is located on The Mall in Amritsar, Punjab — one of the city's most prominent and centrally accessible addresses. The Mall Road location makes it easy for guests arriving from the railway station, the Golden Temple area, or other parts of the city to reach the venue without difficulty.

Parking facilities are available at the Hotel Ritz Plaza property, which is a practical benefit for guests attending Pool Side events by private vehicle. Specific details about parking capacity or valet services should be confirmed with the hotel directly when booking.

Yes, Hotel Ritz Plaza is a hotel with on-site accommodation, so family members and out-of-town guests can stay at the property itself. This eliminates the need to arrange late-night transport to a separate hotel, which is a significant convenience for wedding and large social events. Room availability and group booking rates should be discussed with the hotel's reservations team.

The Pool Side can accommodate a variety of setups, including cocktail-style arrangements, sit-down dining, stage configurations, and themed décor installations such as floral mandaps and fairy lights. The hotel's events team works with organisers to plan seating, décor, and event flow according to the type and scale of the function. For specific décor vendor policies or in-house décor services, organisers should speak with the events team directly.

Yes, the Pool Side is used by corporate clients as a relaxed alternative to indoor conference rooms for occasions such as networking evenings, product launches, and informal team gatherings. The open-air setting and hotel infrastructure — including catering and service staff — support professional corporate formats. Audio-visual and technical requirements should be discussed with the hotel's events team during the planning stage.

Unlike an enclosed ballroom, the Pool Side offers an al fresco atmosphere with open skies and the ambience of the pool area, which many hosts prefer for evening social events and wedding functions. This setting supports a more relaxed and celebratory feel while still benefiting from the hotel's full service infrastructure. Clients who prefer a climate-controlled environment may wish to explore Hotel Ritz Plaza's indoor venues in combination with, or as an alternative to, the Pool Side.

As an outdoor venue within a hotel property in an urban area of Amritsar, noise and music guidelines may apply depending on local regulations and hotel policy. Organisers planning events with live bands, DJs, or sound systems should confirm applicable cut-off times and volume restrictions directly with the Hotel Ritz Plaza events team before booking.

Enquiries about availability, pricing, and event packages for the Pool Side can be directed to Hotel Ritz Plaza through their official website at www.ritzhotel.in or by contacting the property directly by phone or email. It is advisable to reach out well in advance for peak wedding season dates, particularly during the winter months when demand in Amritsar is highest.

Booking and cancellation terms are set by Hotel Ritz Plaza and may vary depending on the event date, size, and package selected. Specific details — including deposit requirements and cancellation timelines — should be reviewed and confirmed with the hotel's events or banqueting team at the time of booking.

Hotel Ritz Plaza is an established full-service hotel, and accessibility provisions within the property should be confirmed with the team when planning an event that includes elderly or mobility-impaired guests. It is recommended to discuss specific requirements — such as ramp access or proximity to seating areas — with the events coordinator to ensure the Pool Side layout can be arranged accordingly.
