The Senate is a dedicated event and banquet space within Jaypee Vasant Continental, a full-service hotel situated in Vasant Vihar, one of South Delhi's most well-established residential and commercial neighbourhoods. The space carries the understated confidence one expects from a hotel of this standing — a setting that feels formal without being stiff, and polished without sacrificing warmth. Whether guests arrive for a corporate gathering or a celebratory occasion, the Senate presents an environment designed to complement the occasion rather than compete with it.
The hotel itself has long been a recognised address on the Delhi hospitality circuit, and the Senate reflects that reputation through its attention to presentation and service. The room is suited to events that call for a clean, structured backdrop — one where the host's vision, décor, and guest experience take precedence. Air-conditioned interiors, reliable audio-visual infrastructure, and professional banquet service from the hotel's events team together ensure that proceedings run smoothly from setup through to the final course.
The Senate is well suited to the full range of events that a South Delhi clientele typically requires — corporate conferences, board meetings, product launches, training sessions, and social celebrations including cocktail evenings, milestone birthdays, and wedding-related functions such as a sangeet, mehendi, or reception. Its location within a hotel that also offers dining, guest accommodation, and allied hospitality services makes it a practical single-point destination when out-of-town guests are involved or when an event requires extended facilities.
The events team at Jaypee Vasant Continental brings established expertise to banquet planning, working with organisers on layout, catering menus, and technical requirements. The hotel's in-house catering capability means that food and beverage for the Senate can be handled end-to-end without the logistical friction that comes with coordinating external vendors. Menus typically draw from a wide repertoire that spans Indian and continental cuisines, and the kitchen is experienced in serving both formal sit-down dinners and buffet-style spreads.
Vasant Vihar gives the Senate a meaningful locational advantage for events drawing guests from across South and South-West Delhi. The neighbourhood is well connected by road and sits in close proximity to Munirka and the Outer Ring Road, providing relatively straightforward access from areas including Saket, Dwarka, Gurgaon, and the Indira Gandhi International Airport — making it a practical choice when attendees are travelling from multiple directions or arriving from out of town.
The hotel's own parking facilities support guests arriving by private vehicle, and the broader Vasant Vihar locality is familiar territory for Delhi-based event guests. For corporate events in particular, the South Delhi address carries a recognised business catchment that aligns with many companies maintaining offices or clientele in this corridor. The Senate, backed by the full-service infrastructure of Jaypee Vasant Continental, offers event planners a dependable, well-located venue in a part of the city where demand for quality banquet space remains consistently high.

Yes, the hotel offers in-house catering handled by its own kitchen team, which is experienced in serving both formal sit-down dinners and buffet-style spreads. The Senate is equipped with audio-visual infrastructure to support corporate presentations, conferences, and event programming. The exact specifications — including screen size, projector type, sound system, and connectivity options — should be confirmed with the hotel's events team, who can also advise on any additional technical requirements for your specific event.
Vasant Vihar's location near the Outer Ring Road makes the Senate reasonably accessible from both Gurgaon and Indira Gandhi International Airport, which lies to the south-west of the city. Guests driving from either direction can typically reach the hotel without navigating central Delhi traffic. The exact travel time will vary depending on time of day and prevailing road conditions.
Jaypee Vasant Continental has parking facilities available for hotel and event guests. If you are expecting a large number of vehicles for your event, it is advisable to confirm parking arrangements with the hotel in advance to ensure adequate space is reserved.

Jaypee Vasant Continental is a full-service hotel and does offer guest rooms, which is a practical advantage when an event in the Senate involves attendees travelling from outside Delhi. Room availability and group booking rates for event guests should be discussed with the hotel's reservations team at the time of enquiry.

Vasant Vihar is a well-established South Delhi neighbourhood with proximity to several business corridors, making the Senate a convenient choice for companies whose clients, teams, or offices are based in South or South-West Delhi. The address is familiar and accessible, reducing logistical friction for attendees coming from areas such as Saket, Dwarka, or the Gurugram border. This catchment alignment makes the Senate particularly practical for corporate seminars, client meetings, and training workshops.
Enquiries about pricing, availability, and event packages for the Senate can be directed to the banquet and events team at Jaypee Vasant Continental. It is advisable to reach out well in advance of your preferred date, especially for peak seasons such as the Delhi winter wedding and conference circuit. The team can provide a tailored quote based on your event size, format, and catering requirements.
The Senate can be considered for a range of event scales, from more intimate board meetings to larger conference or social gatherings, depending on the layout configuration. The hotel's events team can advise on the most appropriate room setup for smaller groups to ensure the space feels proportionate and professional. Specific minimum and maximum group sizes should be confirmed directly with the venue.
As the Senate is located within a full-service hotel with its own catering operation, the hotel typically manages food and beverage in-house. Whether external vendors are permitted — for specialist items such as a wedding cake or a themed beverage counter — is a detail best confirmed with the banquet team at the time of booking.
For large events such as conferences, receptions, or wedding functions, booking the Senate well in advance is strongly recommended — particularly for dates falling in Delhi's popular October-to-February event season when demand for quality South Delhi venues is high. The hotel's events team can advise on current availability and any lead times required for catering, décor, and technical setup. Early enquiry also allows more time to finalise menus, layouts, and ancillary services.
