Sheesh Mahal is one of the signature event spaces at Noormahal Palace Hotel, a luxury heritage-style palace property located in Sector 32, Karnal, Haryana. True to its name — which translates to "Palace of Mirrors" — the hall draws on the grandeur of Mughal and colonial architectural traditions, creating an atmosphere of regal splendour that is rarely found in contemporary banquet spaces. High ceilings, ornate detailing, and a sense of palatial scale define the room, making it an immediate statement for guests the moment they arrive. The overall aesthetic sits comfortably between historical opulence and modern event functionality, giving planners both visual drama and practical versatility.
Noormahal Palace Hotel itself is recognised as one of the landmark luxury destinations on the Delhi–Chandigarh corridor, drawing guests from across the National Capital Region, Punjab, and Haryana for both leisure stays and landmark celebrations.
Sheesh Mahal is suited to a wide range of events — from lavish wedding ceremonies and receptions to corporate conferences, product launches, gala dinners, and social celebrations. Its palatial setting makes it a particularly compelling choice for weddings and pre-wedding functions such as sangeet and cocktail evenings, where the ambience itself becomes part of the occasion. Corporate clients find the formal grandeur of the hall equally fitting for high-profile conferences, award ceremonies, and executive gatherings where an impression needs to be made.
The hall can be configured to suit different event formats, with the property's events team managing layout, seating arrangements, lighting, and audiovisual requirements. In-house catering by the hotel's culinary team supports multi-course banquets, themed menus, and live-counter setups that complement the venue's scale and style.
Karnal sits on National Highway 44, approximately 130 kilometres north of New Delhi and roughly 120 kilometres south of Chandigarh, placing Noormahal Palace Hotel at a genuinely convenient midpoint for guests travelling from either city. The hotel is well connected by road, and Karnal Railway Station provides an additional access point for outstation guests. This positioning makes Sheesh Mahal a practical choice for destination weddings and large corporate events drawing attendees from multiple cities across North India, without requiring guests to travel to a remote or difficult-to-reach location.
The property also offers on-site guest rooms and suites, meaning wedding families and corporate delegates can stay, celebrate, and gather under one roof — a significant convenience for multi-day events.
For event planners seeking a venue that delivers visual grandeur without compromising on logistics, Sheesh Mahal offers a rare combination. The palace setting provides a ready-made backdrop that reduces the décor effort needed to create a memorable atmosphere, while the hotel's professional events infrastructure — experienced staff, in-house catering, accommodation, and dedicated event support — ensures the operational side of a large event is well managed. On the Delhi–Chandigarh highway corridor, few venues match the combination of heritage character, accessibility, and full-service hospitality that Sheesh Mahal at Noormahal Palace Hotel brings together.

Unlike a conventional banquet hall, Sheesh Mahal draws on Mughal and colonial architectural traditions, featuring high ceilings, ornate detailing, and a palatial aesthetic that references the historic 'Palace of Mirrors' style. This means the space itself functions as a décor centrepiece, reducing the need for extensive additional dressing. The result is an atmosphere of regal grandeur that is distinct from most hotel banquet spaces on the Delhi–Chandigarh corridor.
