Vivekananda House
Swami Vivekananda's ancestral home is in Kolkata, India, specifically at 3 Gourmohan Mukherjee Street. It's also known as the Ramakrishna Mission Swami Vivekananda's Ancestral House and Cultural Centre. This is the house where he was born on January 12, 1863, and where he spent his childhood and early youth. Later, in Chennai, the building known as Vivekanandar Illam, formerly the Ice House, also became associated with him after his stay there in 1897.
