V Convention Lawns

V Convention Lawns is an open-air, outdoor event space set within the grounds of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach. The outdoor setting provides natural light and sea breezes, which is a key part of its appeal. Event planners should discuss weather contingency options, such as canopies or marquees, with the hotel's events team when booking.

Visakhapatnam's monsoon season runs approximately from June through September, which can affect outdoor events. The hotel's events team can advise on suitable timing, canopy or marquee options, and contingency measures to protect against unexpected rain. It is advisable to discuss these arrangements in detail when finalising your event date.

As part of Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach, V Convention Lawns has access to the hotel's established in-house catering services. Whether outside caterers or vendors are permitted is subject to the hotel's policy, so event planners should confirm this directly with the events team when requesting a proposal.

Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach is situated in Maharani Peta, very close to the RK Beach promenade, which is one of Visakhapatnam's most recognisable landmarks. This seafront location means guests enjoy a coastal atmosphere and easy orientation within the city. The exact walking distance can be confirmed with the hotel.

The open-air lawn format is particularly popular for wedding ceremonies and receptions in the region, offering the open-sky backdrop that families often seek for mandap or stage arrangements. The hotel's events team coordinates décor and setup, and can advise on approved vendors and layout options for wedding setups.

Capacity details for V Convention Lawns depend on the event format, seating style, and layout. Bookings for V Convention Lawns are managed through the hotel's events and banqueting team, who can provide availability, pricing proposals, and terms. V Convention Lawns offers the combination of a branded hotel's full-service event management — in-house catering, AV support, on-site accommodation, and professional coordination — with a genuine open-air lawn setting, which is unusual for hotel venues in the city. Its seafront location in Maharani Peta, near the RK Beach promenade, adds a coastal character that is difficult to replicate in an enclosed ballroom.
