PLAY BALLROOM

Yes — destination weddings are among the most popular events hosted at the Play Ballroom, combining a grand indoor setting with the resort's beachfront surroundings. Couples can use the ballroom for the reception while taking advantage of outdoor spaces at the resort for ceremonies or cocktail hours. The full-service nature of a Pullman property means coordination, catering, and guest accommodation are all managed on-site.

Specific capacity figures for the Play Ballroom in different configurations have not been publicly confirmed on the official website at the time of writing. Prospective clients should contact the Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort events team directly to receive accurate figures for their preferred layout — whether theatre, banquet, classroom, or cocktail style.

The Play Ballroom is equipped with professional lighting and audiovisual infrastructure suitable for conferences, presentations, and high-production event setups. For specific details about available equipment — such as screen sizes, projector specifications, or sound systems — the resort's events team should be consulted at the time of enquiry.

As a full-service Pullman-branded resort, catering for events at the Play Ballroom is typically managed by the resort's in-house food and beverage team. The property operates multiple dining outlets, supporting a range of menu styles and service formats. Specific policies on outside catering should be confirmed directly with the events department.

The Play Ballroom features a flexible floor layout that can be adapted for various event formats, from formal banquet rounds and theatre-style seating to open cocktail and exhibition configurations. The neutral interior palette also gives event designers freedom to apply custom décor themes. The events team can walk clients through layout options during the planning phase.

The resort is located in the Dương Tơ area in the south of Phú Quốc Island, placing it in the same general vicinity as Phú Quốc International Airport. Exact transfer times can vary depending on traffic and the specific arrival terminal, so guests are advised to confirm transfer arrangements with the resort when booking.

Phú Quốc International Airport is served by direct flights from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, as well as a growing number of international routes. Event planners bringing delegates from multiple cities should check current route availability with their preferred airlines, as schedules and carriers may change seasonally.

The Play Ballroom is well positioned for MICE events, benefiting from both Pullman's global reputation for business and events hosting and Phú Quốc's standing as one of Vietnam's premier MICE destinations. The combination of a large, technically equipped ballroom with on-site accommodation and beachfront leisure makes it particularly appealing for incentive travel groups. The resort's dedicated events coordination team supports programme planning from initial enquiry through to execution.

Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort is a beachfront property, so the Play Ballroom can be combined with outdoor areas — such as beachside settings or garden areas — for ceremonies, cocktail receptions, or post-event activities. The specific outdoor spaces available for event use should be confirmed with the events team, as availability may depend on the event date and overall resort occupancy.

Pullman is part of the globally recognised Accor Hotels portfolio, and as a brand it has a strong focus on business travel and event hosting. For large events such as destination weddings, corporate conferences, or multi-day MICE programmes, it is generally advisable to enquire and provisionally book as far in advance as possible — particularly for peak travel periods to Phú Quốc. The resort's events team can provide guidance on current availability and lead times at the time of enquiry.

Pricing for the Play Ballroom depends on factors such as the type of event, guest numbers, catering requirements, and the duration of the booking, so a tailored proposal is the most reliable way to understand costs. Enquiries can be directed to the events team at Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort through the official website at pullmanphuquoc.com or by contacting the property directly.
