By The Pool at Seven Seas Hotel is an open-air event venue set alongside the hotel's swimming pool, offering a distinctive alfresco setting that stands apart from the conventional banquet halls that dominate Delhi's event landscape. The space combines the relaxed elegance of a poolside environment with the full-service infrastructure of an established hotel property, making it a compelling choice for hosts who want an event that feels genuinely different. The ambient backdrop of the pool lends the venue a resort-like quality — one that works as effectively under the warm glow of evening lighting as it does during a sunlit afternoon gathering.
The open-air format means natural light, open skies, and a sense of occasion that enclosed spaces rarely replicate. For events where atmosphere is as important as logistics, By The Pool delivers a setting that guests remember. The venue is well-suited to cocktail receptions, birthday celebrations, sundowners, engagement parties, corporate networking evenings, and social gatherings where a relaxed yet polished ambience is the priority.
By The Pool is particularly well-matched to events that benefit from a casual-luxe aesthetic — occasions where formality gives way to mingling, movement, and an open atmosphere. Cocktail dinners, pre-wedding functions such as mehendi and sangeet evenings, product launches with a lifestyle angle, and milestone birthday parties all translate beautifully to the poolside format. The setting encourages a natural flow between spaces, giving guests room to move freely while the pool itself serves as a striking visual centrepiece.
Seven Seas Hotel's in-house events team supports bookings at By The Pool with catering, décor coordination, and audio-visual arrangements, ensuring that open-air logistics are handled with the same attention to detail as any of the property's indoor venues. The hotel's culinary team can be engaged for curated menus — from live food stations and barbecue setups to formal plated service — making the venue adaptable to a wide range of event formats.
Seven Seas Hotel is located in Sector 3, Rohini, in northwest Delhi — a well-connected residential and commercial neighbourhood that is accessible from much of the city. Rohini is served by the Delhi Metro's Red Line, with stations within proximity of the hotel, making the property reachable without reliance on private transport. For guests driving in, the hotel provides on-site parking. The Rohini location also means the property is a practical choice for hosts whose guests are largely based in north and northwest Delhi, minimising travel time and making late-evening departures more convenient.
By The Pool sits within a full-service hotel, so guests have access to the broader amenities of Seven Seas Hotel — including indoor banquet spaces, accommodation, and dining — should an event require a multi-venue or multi-day setup. This combination of an outdoor event space within a hotel ecosystem gives event planners a degree of flexibility that standalone venues cannot match.

By The Pool is particularly well-suited to cocktail receptions, engagement parties, birthday celebrations, sundowners, mehendi and sangeet evenings, and corporate networking events. Its open-air, poolside setting creates a relaxed yet polished atmosphere that works especially well for social and pre-wedding functions. Event planners looking for something more distinctive than a conventional banquet hall often find the alfresco format a strong fit.
Exact capacity figures for By The Pool should be confirmed directly with the Seven Seas Hotel events team, as they can vary based on the event format, seating arrangement, and any additional setup requirements. Prospective clients are encouraged to get in touch with the hotel to discuss their specific guest count and preferred layout.
By The Pool is an open-air, outdoor event space set alongside the hotel's swimming pool. This alfresco setting is a defining feature of the venue, offering natural light and open skies that enclosed banquet halls cannot replicate. Guests planning an event should factor in seasonal and weather considerations when choosing this space.
As an open-air venue, By The Pool is subject to weather conditions, which is an important consideration particularly during Delhi's monsoon months from July to September. Prospective clients should discuss weather contingency arrangements — such as temporary canopy or shamiyana setups — with the Seven Seas Hotel events team at the time of booking. The hotel's indoor banquet facilities may also be available as a backup option depending on availability.
Seven Seas Hotel has an in-house culinary team that supports events at By The Pool with a range of catering options, from live food stations and barbecue setups to formal plated service. The specific menus, cuisine options, and per-plate pricing should be discussed with the hotel's events or catering team when requesting a quote. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a detail best clarified directly with the hotel.
The hotel's events team can assist with décor coordination for functions held at By The Pool. The poolside setting itself serves as a visual centrepiece, and décor choices such as floral arrangements, lighting, and draping can be used to complement it. Clients wishing to bring in an external decorator should confirm the hotel's policy on third-party vendors directly with the events team.
Seven Seas Hotel's events team can arrange audio-visual support for functions at By The Pool. Given the outdoor nature of the space, specific AV requirements — such as sound systems, projectors, or screens suitable for open-air use — should be discussed in advance with the events team to ensure the right setup is planned. Additional technical details, including any noise or amplification restrictions, are worth confirming at the time of booking.

Availability of additional spaces should be discussed with the events team when planning.

The hotel's events team can assist with catering, décor, and entertainment arrangements for such events.
