Assembleia 3 is a dedicated event hall within Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon, the iconic luxury resort perched along the shoreline at Dona Paula, Panaji. Part of a trio of Assembleia meeting and event rooms, Assembleia 3 offers an intimate yet polished setting that sits in contrast to the resort's larger ballroom and banquet spaces. The room carries the understated elegance characteristic of the Taj Hotels brand — clean proportions, professional-grade interiors, and flexible configurations that allow the space to shift between a boardroom-style setup, a classroom arrangement, or a compact reception format depending on the occasion.
The hall is suited to events where a contained, focused atmosphere matters: executive briefings, small-scale corporate workshops, breakout sessions running alongside a larger conference, private client presentations, and social gatherings where an intimate scale is a deliberate choice rather than a constraint. Its position within the Assembleia wing means it sits alongside sister rooms that can be combined or used in parallel for multi-room event programmes, giving planners the ability to scale without relocating to a different part of the property.
Assembleia 3 performs best as a venue for corporate and business-focused events, including product presentations, training sessions, team meetings, and strategy workshops. Its compact footprint also makes it a natural choice for pre-function gatherings, networking receptions, or breakout rooms during larger conferences held in adjacent Assembleia spaces or the resort's main banquet hall. For social events, the room can accommodate intimate celebrations where personalised service — a hallmark of Taj hospitality — takes precedence over raw capacity.
Event planners working with the Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon events team can expect access to the hotel's full suite of support: in-house audiovisual equipment, professional banquet staff, customised food and beverage menus drawing on the resort's culinary team, and décor coordination. The Taj's longstanding reputation for meticulous event execution means that even a compact room like Assembleia 3 is backed by the same operational infrastructure as the property's flagship event spaces.
Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon occupies a prime position in Dona Paula, one of Goa's most scenic and well-connected coastal neighbourhoods, within the Panaji district of North Goa. The resort sits close to the Dona Paula viewpoint, a landmark known for its panoramic views of the Zuari and Mandovi river confluence. Dabolim Airport (Goa International Airport) is accessible by road, and the property's location keeps guests within easy reach of Panaji city centre, the state capital, where government offices, cultural venues, and hospitality infrastructure are concentrated.
For delegates attending events at Assembleia 3, the resort provides an environment where business and leisure coexist naturally — a quality that is particularly valued for multi-day corporate retreats or incentive programmes in Goa. Participants can transition from a focused session in Assembleia 3 to the resort's beach, pools, or dining outlets without leaving the property, making the venue a strong choice for events that benefit from Goa's unique blend of professional and leisure appeal.

Assembleia 3 is particularly well suited to corporate and business-focused events such as executive briefings, training workshops, strategy sessions, and product presentations. It also works well as a breakout room alongside larger conferences held in adjacent Assembleia spaces or the resort's main banquet facilities. For social occasions, the room's intimate scale makes it a good fit for private gatherings where personalised Taj service is a priority.
Yes, Assembleia 3 sits within the Assembleia wing alongside sister rooms, and the hotel's events team can arrange for multiple Assembleia spaces to be used in parallel or as part of a multi-room event programme. This makes it a flexible option for conferences that require both a main session room and dedicated breakout spaces. The specific combination options and any associated requirements should be confirmed with the hotel's events team.
Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon provides in-house audiovisual equipment and professional support as part of its event services. The exact inventory of AV equipment available specifically within Assembleia 3 — such as projectors, screens, microphones, and connectivity options — is best confirmed directly with the hotel's events team when submitting your enquiry.
The resort's culinary team offers customised food and beverage menus for events held at Assembleia 3, consistent with Taj Hotels' standards for in-house catering. Whether outside catering vendors are permitted is a policy detail that should be verified with the hotel's events and banqueting team prior to booking.
The property is located in Dona Paula, Panaji, in North Goa — a scenic and well-connected coastal neighbourhood. Panaji city centre, the state capital of Goa, is nearby, and the resort is accessible by road from Dabolim Airport (Goa International Airport). The specific driving distance and travel time from the airport should be confirmed, as road conditions and routes can vary.
Assembleia 3 sits within a full-service resort where delegates can move directly from focused business sessions to the hotel's leisure facilities, including its beach access, pools, and dining outlets. This combination of a professional meeting environment within a Goa resort setting makes it well regarded for multi-day corporate retreats and incentive programmes. The Taj brand's operational infrastructure ensures consistent service quality throughout.
Capacity figures for Assembleia 3 vary depending on the seating configuration — theatre, classroom, boardroom, or reception style — and have not been publicly confirmed in detail. The hotel's events team will be able to provide exact capacity numbers for each setup when you share your event requirements.
The room can be configured in multiple ways, including boardroom, classroom, theatre, and reception arrangements, to suit the nature of the event. The hotel's banquet and events team coordinates setup based on the client's brief, and décor customisation is also available. Final configuration options and any setup lead times should be discussed during the booking process.
Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon is a full-service resort hotel with on-site guest rooms, making it convenient for delegates or guests who are travelling from outside Goa or prefer to stay on property. Specific room types, rates, and block-booking arrangements for event groups should be discussed with the hotel's reservations and events teams.
As a resort property, Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon is expected to offer parking facilities for guests and event attendees. The details of parking capacity, any charges, and valet availability should be confirmed with the hotel directly, particularly for larger event groups.
The Dona Paula viewpoint, known for its panoramic views of the confluence of the Zuari and Mandovi rivers, is located close to the resort. Event planners organising incentive programmes or team experiences can potentially incorporate the surrounding area into the event itinerary. Whether the hotel offers organised excursions or off-site activity coordination should be confirmed with the events team.
Taj Cidade de Goa Horizon's events team provides décor coordination as part of its event planning services, and the hotel works with trusted suppliers to execute themed or branded setups. For highly customised requirements, it is advisable to discuss your vision during the initial enquiry so the team can advise on what is possible within the space.
Enquiries for Assembleia 3 can be directed to the hotel's events and banqueting team through the Taj Hotels official website or by contacting the property directly. Providing details such as your event date, expected number of guests, preferred setup, and any catering requirements will help the team respond with an accurate proposal.
As an indoor meeting and event room within a hotel, Assembleia 3 is generally not subject to the same noise curfew considerations as outdoor or rooftop venues. However, any applicable house rules regarding event hours or sound levels should be clarified with the hotel's events team as part of the booking process.
Assembleia 3 is a more intimate, contained room compared to the resort's larger banquet hall, making it a better fit for events where a focused, close-knit atmosphere is the goal rather than scale. Its position within the Assembleia wing also means it integrates naturally into multi-room conference formats. The backing of Taj Hotels' full hospitality infrastructure ensures that the quality of service is consistent regardless of the room size.
