The City Palace of Udaipur, the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, rises majestically over Lake Pichola. Bagore Ki Haveli, an 18th-century mansion on Lake Pichola’s Gangaur Ghat, was built by Amar Chand Badwa and later became the Bagore royal residence. Built in 1651 by Maharana Jagat Singh I, Jagdish Temple is one of Udaipur’s largest and most famous temples, dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Constructed in the Indo-Aryan style, it features intricately carved pillars, sculpted ceilings, and stone images of deities. The main shrine holds a black stone idol of Vishnu, with smaller shrines to Shiva, Ganesh, Shakti, and Surya.
