Lawn

Yes, the Lawn is a popular choice for the large-scale, multi-event wedding celebrations that are characteristic of Delhi's wedding culture, including ceremonies, receptions, sangeets, and mehendi gatherings. The open-air setting accommodates traditional mandap setups, floral canopies, and elaborate décor arrangements. Prospective couples should contact The Lodhi's weddings team directly to discuss specific capacity and styling requirements.

As an open-air venue in Delhi, the Lawn is subject to seasonal weather conditions including monsoon rains and summer heat. The Lodhi's events team is experienced in advising clients on optimal seasonal timing and can discuss backup or contingency arrangements to protect an event from adverse weather. It is recommended that planners raise this topic early in the planning process to explore the options available.

The Lawn's open-format design is intended to give planners and decorators creative freedom to build the event aesthetic from scratch. Traditional mandap setups, contemporary floral installations, minimalist corporate arrangements, and bespoke lighting designs are all possible. The Lodhi's in-house events team works alongside external decorators and production vendors to coordinate logistics on-site.

The Lodhi's culinary team is able to craft bespoke menus for Lawn events, drawing on the hotel's established dining reputation to deliver food and beverage experiences suited to the occasion. Menus can be tailored for formal dinners, cocktail receptions, buffets, or multi-course plated service. Specific menu options, dietary accommodations, and catering packages should be discussed directly with the hotel's events and food and beverage team.

The Lodhi's events team coordinates the setup of technical production elements including lighting rigs, sound systems, staging, and seating for outdoor events on the Lawn. Requirements vary considerably by event type, and the team works with planners to ensure that all production details are handled with precision. Specific AV capabilities and vendor arrangements should be confirmed with the events team at the time of inquiry.

The Lodhi provides on-site parking facilities, making it a practical choice for events that draw guests travelling by private car from across Delhi. The Lodhi has an in-house events team that works with clients from the initial inquiry through to on-site coordination on the day of the event. The team assists with layout planning, vendor coordination, menu design, and logistics for Lawn events. Engaging this team early in the planning process is recommended, especially for complex multi-session events like weddings.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for event bookings at The Lodhi are governed by the hotel's standard event contracts and may vary depending on the date, event size, and lead time. Clients should review the specific terms provided at the time of booking and discuss any flexibility requirements with the events team before signing. It is advisable to clarify these conditions upfront, particularly for events scheduled during peak seasons.

The Lodhi offers multiple event spaces across the property, which means planners can potentially combine the Lawn with indoor venues for multi-session events — for example, using the Lawn for an outdoor ceremony and an indoor space for a formal dinner. Combining spaces for a single event should be discussed with the hotel's events team to confirm availability and logistics. This kind of combined arrangement is commonly requested for large wedding programmes.
