The Green Valley Lawn at The Sky Imperial Nakoda Green Valley Resort is an open-air event space set within the resort's expansive grounds in Kothariya, Rajasthan. The lawn brings together the natural calm of the surrounding landscape with the organisational infrastructure expected from a full-service resort venue. Its open setting allows for generous event layouts, from elaborate floral mandap arrangements to cocktail-style receptions, and the backdrop of the Rajasthani countryside lends every occasion a distinct sense of place that enclosed banquet halls simply cannot replicate.
The space is particularly well suited to events that benefit from natural light and open skies — daytime ceremonies, evening receptions under ambient lighting, and pre-wedding functions such as mehendi, haldi, and sangeet all work naturally within a lawn setting like this. The resort's surroundings, close to the revered Nakoda Jain Tirth pilgrimage site, make it a meaningful and spiritually resonant choice for families celebrating major milestones, especially destination weddings drawing guests from across Rajasthan and beyond.
The Green Valley Lawn is designed to accommodate a wide range of social and celebratory events. Wedding celebrations are a primary focus, with the space able to host the full arc of a multi-day wedding programme — from intimate family rituals to large gatherings of guests. Beyond weddings, the lawn is suited to corporate retreats, team-building events, and group gatherings that benefit from the resort's hospitality infrastructure including accommodation, dining, and event support services.
The resort setting means event planners have access to on-site catering, décor coordination, and dedicated event staff, reducing the logistical complexity of organising a destination event. The combination of an open lawn for ceremonies and the resort's indoor facilities for dining or backup purposes gives organisers meaningful flexibility, particularly for events spanning multiple days or requiring varied function formats.
The Sky Imperial Nakoda Green Valley Resort is located in Kothariya, near Nathdwara in Rajasthan — a region well known for its religious and cultural significance. The town of Nathdwara, home to the famous Shrinathji Temple, is a major pilgrimage destination that draws visitors from across India, and the resort's proximity to this landmark makes it a natural gathering point for guests arriving from different parts of the country. Nathdwara itself is well connected by road to Udaipur, which has its own domestic airport, making outstation guest travel straightforward for larger destination events.
The Kothariya location sits away from urban congestion, offering a quieter, resort-style environment that is increasingly sought after for destination weddings and weekend retreats. Guests who stay on-site benefit from the full range of resort amenities, while those arriving on the day of an event will find the road access via Nathdwara manageable and clearly routed. For event planners seeking a Rajasthan venue that balances spiritual surroundings, natural beauty, and resort-quality hospitality, the Green Valley Lawn represents a considered and capable choice.
