Tropicana Greens

Tropicana Greens is an outdoor lawn venue set within the Vivanta Vadodara hotel campus. It offers an open-sky, garden-style setting distinct from the hotel's indoor banquet spaces. This makes it particularly popular for evening events and celebrations where an alfresco ambience is desired.

As an open-air lawn, Tropicana Greens is subject to weather conditions. It is advisable to discuss weather contingency options — such as temporary structures, canopies, or the availability of an indoor backup space — with the Vivanta Vadodara events team when finalising your booking. Planning events outside the monsoon season is a common approach for outdoor venues in Gujarat.

Yes, the lawn is well suited to wedding-related functions including ceremonies, receptions, sangeets, cocktail evenings, and pre-function gatherings. Its open-air character and the ability to accommodate a range of décor styles — from traditional mandap setups to contemporary draped arrangements — make it a flexible choice for multi-function wedding celebrations.

As a full-service Vivanta by Taj hotel, Vivanta Vadodara has an in-house banqueting and catering team that supports events held on the property, including at Tropicana Greens. Specific menu options, cuisines, and catering packages should be confirmed with the hotel's events or catering department at the time of enquiry.

Policies on external vendors for catering, décor, and entertainment can vary and are subject to the hotel's guidelines. It is recommended to clarify which vendors are permitted and whether there are any restrictions on outside caterers or decorators directly with the Vivanta Vadodara events team before making arrangements.

The open lawn format of Tropicana Greens gives event planners considerable creative latitude when it comes to décor themes, from floral mandaps and traditional setups to contemporary draped structures and lighting installations. The hotel's banqueting team can advise on what structures and setups are feasible within the space. Specific décor packages and empanelled decorator options should be discussed with the venue directly.
