Konark's resort landscape is anchored by a self-contained full-service property positioned along one of Odisha's most scenic coastal stretches. With a venue count that reflects the town's boutique character, the resort on offer here combines open-air beachside settings with structured indoor facilities — making it a considered choice for planners seeking a retreat backdrop that is genuinely distinct from a city banquet hall.
The Resort on Spalba
Lotus Resort Konark is the resort currently listed in Konark on Spalba. The property brings together three distinct event spaces: an Ocean Cafe, a Conference Hall, and a Beachside Lawn. This mix means a single venue can support formats as varied as a breakout session, a seated corporate dinner, or a large open-air gathering — all within the same premises, without guests needing to travel between locations.
Capacity Range: 80 to 700 Guests
Lotus Resort Konark accommodates gatherings across a wide spectrum, with a capacity range running from 80 to 700 guests. The venue suits both intimate functions — with spaces configured for groups under 200 — and large-scale events reaching up to 700 attendees. For planners whose guest list may shift between a focused leadership offsite and a broad all-hands or celebration, this flexibility within one resort is practically useful. Match your confirmed headcount against the specific spaces available, as the Ocean Cafe, Conference Hall, and Beachside Lawn each serve a different end of that range.
Location: Ramchandi Beach
Lotus Resort Konark sits near Ramchandi Beach, placing it at the meeting point of the Kusabhadra river and the Bay of Bengal. For events where the setting is itself part of the experience — team retreats, milestone celebrations, or creative workshops — this coastal locality adds an environment that no urban venue can replicate. Delegates travelling from Bhubaneswar can reach Konark in roughly an hour, making it a viable destination without requiring multi-day travel commitments.
