The Aravali-1 Event Space
Aravali-1 is a dedicated event venue within Ananta Spa & Resorts Udaipur, a resort property situated in Bujhda on the outskirts of Udaipur, Rajasthan. The space draws its identity from its surroundings — the ancient Aravalli hills frame the landscape, lending the venue a setting that feels both grounded and grand. The interiors are styled to reflect the warmth and craftsmanship associated with Rajasthani hospitality, with a palette and atmosphere suited to formal occasions as much as celebratory gatherings. Whether bathed in natural light during a daytime function or set for an evening affair, Aravali-1 offers a composed and versatile environment that complements the broader resort experience.
The resort itself is known for blending contemporary comfort with the cultural character of Mewar, and Aravali-1 carries that sensibility into the events setting. Guests arriving for an event benefit from a self-contained property that includes accommodation, dining, and wellness facilities, making it particularly well suited to multi-day programmes where attendees are staying on-site.
Events & Occasions
Aravali-1 is designed to accommodate a range of event formats, from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings, engagement ceremonies, social celebrations, and themed gatherings. The space can be configured to suit both intimate functions and larger assemblies, with the resort's events team available to assist with layout planning, décor coordination, and technical requirements. In-house catering draws on the resort's culinary team, with menus that can be tailored to the nature and scale of the event — from formal plated dinners to elaborate wedding spreads featuring regional and international cuisine.
For wedding planners in particular, the wider resort campus offers additional outdoor and indoor settings alongside Aravali-1, allowing ceremonies, receptions, and ancillary functions to be distributed across different spaces within the same property. This makes the venue especially practical for destination weddings where guests, hospitality, and event operations all need to be co-located.
Audio-visual equipment, staging, and lighting can be arranged in coordination with the events team, and the property supports customised décor and floral arrangements to match the occasion's theme. Specific technical specifications and capacity figures should be confirmed directly with the Ananta Spa & Resorts Udaipur events team, as configurations vary by event type.
Location & Accessibility
Ananta Spa & Resorts Udaipur is located in Bujhda, a semi-rural area on the periphery of Udaipur that offers a sense of retreat without being impractically remote. Udaipur is well connected by air via Maharana Pratap Airport, and the city is also accessible by rail and road. For guests travelling from within the city or arriving at the airport, the resort provides a quiet, unhurried approach that sets the tone for an event before arrivals even step inside.
The location away from the dense urban core means the property benefits from open land, greenery, and proximity to the natural topography of the Aravalli range — features that are reflected in the name of the venue itself and in the overall character of events hosted here. For planners seeking a destination-feel within Rajasthan without travelling far from Udaipur's infrastructure, Aravali-1 at Ananta offers a genuinely distinctive setting.
