Lawn

The Lawn is an open-air, outdoor event space located within the Ellaa Hotel property in Gachibowli. Guests and hosts enjoy an alfresco setting while still benefiting from the hotel's full hospitality infrastructure and service team.

Specific capacity figures for the Lawn — whether for seated dinners or standing receptions — should be confirmed directly with the Ellaa Hotel events team, as the numbers can vary depending on the seating arrangement, stage setup, and décor requirements of each event.

Ellaa Hotel has an in-house kitchen and service team capable of supporting a range of food and beverage formats, from multi-course banquets to cocktail-style spreads. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a policy detail that the hotel's events team can clarify at the time of inquiry.

Yes, the Lawn's open-air character and flexible layout make it a popular choice for wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related pre-wedding functions such as mehendi and sangeet evenings. The outdoor setting gives decorators significant freedom to create themed environments, including floral mandaps and stage arrangements.

As an outdoor venue, the Lawn is subject to weather conditions, so it is important to discuss contingency arrangements — such as temporary canopies, marquees, or access to an indoor backup space — with the Ellaa Hotel events team before confirming a booking. Having a weather plan in place is strongly recommended for events scheduled during Hyderabad's monsoon season, which typically runs from June through September.

Outdoor venues in residential and commercial areas like Gachibowli may be subject to local noise regulations and municipal curfew guidelines. Hosts should ask the Ellaa Hotel events team about permissible music hours and any decibel limits that apply to the Lawn before finalising entertainment arrangements.

Ellaa Hotel is a full-service hotel property, and parking availability for event guests should be confirmed with the hotel directly, as capacity and any valet arrangements can vary depending on the size of the event and concurrent hotel occupancy.

Yes — Gachibowli is situated at the heart of Hyderabad's western technology corridor, placing the Lawn within a short drive of HITEC City, the Financial District, and Kondapur. This makes it particularly practical for corporate events where many attendees are based in or commute through these neighbourhoods.

Absolutely. The open-air setting of the Lawn lends itself to corporate networking evenings, product launches, and team events where an outdoor atmosphere creates a more relaxed impression than a conventional indoor meeting room. The Ellaa Hotel events team can advise on AV support, staging, and other requirements for professional gatherings.

Ellaa Hotel is a full-service hotel property, so guest rooms are available on-site for attendees who need to stay overnight. Hosts planning events with outstation guests are encouraged to ask the hotel about room blocks or group accommodation rates at the time of booking the Lawn.

The Lawn's open format gives event designers considerable flexibility for décor — from elaborate floral installations and themed lighting for weddings to clean, professional setups for corporate occasions. Whether the hotel has preferred décor vendors or allows external decorators should be discussed with the events team during the planning process.
