JALSA is the dedicated event and banquet space at Hotel Runway Inn Varanasi, located in Babatpur — the area that serves as the gateway to Varanasi International Airport (Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport). Designed to bring a sense of occasion to every gathering, JALSA offers a purpose-built setting that balances elegant presentation with practical functionality. The hall is tailored for hosts who want a polished, hotel-managed venue without the complexity of travelling deep into the city, making it a particularly convenient choice for guests arriving by air or for multi-day events where attendees are also staying on-site at the hotel.
The space carries a warm, celebratory character — the name "JALSA" itself evokes festivity and joyful assembly in the Indian cultural context, and the hall lives up to that spirit. Interior finishes are designed to be versatile, accommodating both vibrant, decorated social events and the clean, composed look that corporate occasions demand. The room can be set up to suit different formats and seating arrangements, giving event planners the flexibility to shape the space around their vision rather than the other way around.
JALSA is well suited to a broad range of events. Wedding functions — from mehendi and sangeet ceremonies to receptions — are among the most popular uses, and the hotel's location in Varanasi, a city with deep cultural and religious significance for weddings, makes it a natural destination for families hosting milestone celebrations. Corporate events including conferences, seminars, product launches, and company gatherings also find a comfortable home here, with the hotel's proximity to the airport being a practical advantage when delegates are travelling in from other cities.
Social celebrations such as birthday parties, anniversaries, and private dinners round out the calendar. The hotel's in-house team supports event planning and coordination, helping organisers manage catering, décor, and logistics under one roof. This full-service approach is especially valued by planners who want a single point of contact rather than managing multiple vendors independently.
Hotel Runway Inn Varanasi sits in Babatpur, directly adjacent to the Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport corridor — one of the most accessible locations for any event venue in the Varanasi region. Out-of-town guests flying in for a wedding or conference face a minimal transfer from the terminal to the hotel, reducing travel fatigue and simplifying logistics for large groups.
Babatpur also connects to the broader Varanasi city road network, making the property reachable for local guests driving in from the city centre or surrounding districts. For events that span multiple days, the availability of guest rooms within Hotel Runway Inn itself means attendees can stay on-site, keeping the entire event experience — arrival, celebration, and rest — within a single, well-managed property. This combination of airport proximity, on-site accommodation, and a dedicated banquet facility makes JALSA a distinctive and practical choice in the Varanasi events landscape.
