Open Air Theatre

The Open Air Theatre is an alfresco venue, meaning guests and the performance area are open to the sky rather than under a permanent roof. Event organisers planning an outdoor function here should discuss weather contingency arrangements — such as temporary canopies or marquee options — directly with the Lahari Resorts events team, as availability may vary by season.

Hyderabad's summer months (April–June) can bring high temperatures, and the monsoon season (July–September) brings periodic rainfall, both of which are relevant considerations for an outdoor venue. Prospective bookers are advised to speak with the resort's events team about the best time of year for their specific event type and any weather-related backup provisions the property can offer.

Yes, the Open Air Theatre is well suited to pre-wedding celebrations such as sangeet and mehendi ceremonies, where live entertainment, dance performances, and a festive open atmosphere are central to the event. Its stage and open layout allow for both organised performances and informal social mingling. Couples should contact the Lahari Resorts wedding planning team to discuss packages that combine the theatre with other on-property venues.

Exact seating and standing capacity figures for the Open Air Theatre are best confirmed directly with the Lahari Resorts events team, as the numbers can vary depending on the seating arrangement, stage configuration, and specific event format. The team will be able to advise on the maximum guest count for your preferred setup.

Lahari Resorts is a full-service resort property and is expected to offer in-house catering for events held on its campus, including those at the Open Air Theatre. The specific menus, cuisine options, and whether outside caterers are permitted should be confirmed with the resort's events and catering team when making an enquiry.

The Open Air Theatre features a dedicated stage, making it suitable for live performances, cultural programmes, and entertainment-led corporate events. Details about in-house audio-visual equipment, lighting rigs, and technical support should be discussed with the venue's events team, as the available setup can vary based on the event's requirements.

Lahari Resorts is located in Bhanoor, Patancheru Mandal, on the north-western outskirts of Hyderabad. The property is accessible via the Outer Ring Road (ORR), which connects it to multiple parts of the city. Guests travelling from Hyderabad city centre or HITEC City should allow adequate travel time; the resort's team can provide specific directions and distance estimates for guests coming from different parts of the city.

Yes, Lahari Resorts is a full resort property with on-site accommodation, meaning guests — whether attending a wedding, corporate retreat, or multi-day celebration — can stay within the campus itself. This makes it a practical choice for destination events where out-of-town guests need to be hosted. Exact room counts and availability should be confirmed with the reservations team.

The Open Air Theatre is suitable for corporate events such as product launches, award nights, and cultural or entertainment evenings that benefit from an open-air stage setting. The resort's campus includes accommodation and other facilities that can support multi-day corporate programmes. Corporate event planners are encouraged to contact the Lahari Resorts events team to discuss tailored packages.

As a resort property with the scale to host large gatherings, Lahari Resorts is expected to have on-site parking facilities for event guests. The specific parking capacity and any arrangements for valet or managed parking for large events should be confirmed with the venue team at the time of booking.

The open-air format of the theatre allows for significant flexibility in décor, lighting, and staging — making it adaptable to themes ranging from traditional and festive to contemporary and elegant. Whether the resort works with in-house decorators or recommends external vendors is a detail that prospective bookers should clarify with the events team, as policies may vary.

Because the Open Air Theatre is an outdoor venue, sound can carry beyond the immediate event space, and local noise regulations may apply — particularly for late-night events. Bookers should specifically ask the Lahari Resorts events team about permissible sound levels, permitted event hours, and any curfew-related guidelines that could affect entertainment planning.

Lahari Resorts features multiple event and function spaces across its campus, which can be used in combination with the Open Air Theatre for larger multi-day celebrations such as weddings or corporate retreats. The specific spaces available and how they can be packaged together should be discussed with the resort's events planning team, who can advise on layouts that suit different functions across different days.

Enquiries about availability, pricing, and event packages for the Open Air Theatre at Lahari Resorts can be directed to the resort's events team through the official website at lahariresorts.com or by contacting the property directly. It is advisable to share key details upfront — including the event date, expected guest count, and event type — so the team can provide an accurate proposal.
