Cricket Ground

As a full-sized cricket ground, the space is capable of hosting very large gatherings, making it one of the more expansive outdoor venue options in the Bhanoor area near Hyderabad. Exact capacity figures for different seating or standing configurations are best confirmed directly with the resort's events team, as layouts vary considerably depending on the event type and décor requirements.

The Cricket Ground is an open-air, outdoor venue set within the landscaped grounds of Lahari Resorts in Bhanoor. This makes it ideal for events where guests need freedom of movement and where large-scale entertainment, stage setups, or elaborate décor is planned. Event planners should discuss weather contingency arrangements with the resort when booking, particularly during the monsoon season.

As an open-air space, the Cricket Ground is subject to weather conditions, which is an important consideration especially during Hyderabad's monsoon months. Lahari Resorts has multiple other indoor and covered event spaces on its campus that can serve as contingency or overflow areas. Guests should discuss backup arrangements and any temporary structure options (such as shamianas or tent covers) with the events team at the time of booking.

Yes, the open expanse of the Cricket Ground makes it particularly well suited to baraat processions and grand wedding entries, where the scale and open layout allow for large wedding parties, horse or vehicle entries, and accompanying music and entertainment. The ground's size means there is ample room for guests to gather and celebrate without feeling crowded. Specific arrangements should be coordinated with the resort's events team during the planning stage.

Lahari Resorts operates as a full-service resort and typically provides in-house catering for events held on its premises. Whether outside caterers are permitted is subject to the resort's current policy, which should be confirmed directly with the events team. Most large resort venues of this type offer comprehensive food and beverage packages that can be tailored to the event's cuisine preferences and guest count.

Lahari Resorts' campus in Bhanoor includes open grounds and resort-scale infrastructure that typically accommodates significant parking for large event groups arriving by car or coach. The highway-facing location on NH 65 also makes it accessible for guests driving in from different parts of Hyderabad. Specific parking arrangements for very large events should be confirmed with the resort when finalising the booking.

Lahari Resorts is located in Bhanoor along the Hyderabad–Pune National Highway (NH 65), making it accessible from Hyderabad city while offering a resort setting away from the urban environment. The precise travel time will depend on the point of origin within the city and traffic conditions. Guests are advised to use a maps application for the most accurate current travel estimates from their specific location.

Rajiv Gandhi International Airport is located along the same general NH 65 corridor as Lahari Resorts in Bhanoor, making the resort a convenient option for events hosting outstation guests who are flying in. Exact driving distance and time should be checked via a maps application, as road conditions and route choices can affect the journey. The events team can advise on the best approach routes for airport transfers.

Yes, Lahari Resorts has multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces on its campus, which means multi-day celebrations — such as those common in Indian weddings — can flow between the Cricket Ground and other venues without guests needing to travel off-property. This makes it a practical and cohesive choice for extended event programmes. The events team can help plan how different functions across the celebration are distributed across the available spaces.

The open-air format of the Cricket Ground allows for considerable flexibility in stage placement, décor design, and entertainment layout, unconstrained by walls or fixed interiors. Large stages, elaborate floral or themed décor, and expansive dining or lounge arrangements are all feasible given the ground's scale. Specific tie-ups with decorators or AV providers, and any restrictions on structures or rigging, should be discussed directly with the resort's events team.

As a resort property, Lahari Resorts has on-site accommodation available, which is a significant advantage for events such as destination weddings or multi-day corporate retreats where guests need to stay overnight. The number of rooms and room types available should be confirmed with the resort directly, as availability will depend on the event date and other bookings. Blocking rooms for event groups is a common arrangement that the reservations team can assist with.

Evening events on the Cricket Ground can be elevated with appropriate lighting and sound systems, and the resort can advise on what in-house AV infrastructure is available for outdoor setups. Given the scale of the ground, professional lighting rigs and large sound systems are commonly deployed for events of this nature. Planners should confirm the scope of in-house AV provision and discuss any requirements for external production vendors with the events team.

Availability and pricing for the Cricket Ground can be enquired about by contacting Lahari Resorts directly through their official website at lahariresorts.com or by calling the resort's events department. Pricing for large outdoor event spaces typically varies based on the event date, expected guest count, duration, and the services included. It is advisable to reach out well in advance for popular wedding and festive season dates, as large-format outdoor venues of this type tend to book out early.

As an outdoor venue, events at the Cricket Ground may be subject to local noise regulations and permissible hours for amplified music, which are governed by Telangana state guidelines. The resort's events team will be best placed to advise on any curfew timings or restrictions that apply to outdoor events on the property. Discussing these boundaries early in the planning process helps ensure that the event programme — particularly music and entertainment — is designed accordingly.
