Sapphire 1 is a dedicated event venue within Park Plaza Delhi CBD Shahdara, a full-service hotel that brings internationally aligned Park Plaza standards to one of Delhi's most historically significant districts. The space is designed to feel polished and functional in equal measure — clean lines, professional finishes, and a layout that adapts comfortably to the demands of corporate gatherings, social celebrations, and everything in between. The hotel's four-star positioning means that guests and organisers alike can expect a baseline of quality that extends well beyond the room itself, from front-of-house service to in-house catering.
Park Plaza Delhi CBD Shahdara sits in Shahdara, on the eastern bank of the Yamuna, an area that has become increasingly connected to central Delhi through the Delhi Metro network. For guests travelling from across the city or arriving at Anand Vihar railway terminus or the interstate bus terminal nearby, the hotel's location translates to a practical and well-linked address — an advantage that is often underestimated when planning events with multi-origin guest lists.
Sapphire 1 suits a wide range of occasions. On the corporate side, it is well suited to conferences, seminars, training sessions, product launches, and board meetings, where the hotel's professional support infrastructure — audiovisual equipment, high-speed connectivity, and dedicated event coordination — makes the operational side of an event more manageable. On the social side, the space handles celebrations such as cocktail receptions, milestone birthday gatherings, engagement functions, and pre-wedding events with equal ease.
The venue benefits from being embedded within a full-service hotel, which means catering is handled in-house, with menus that can be tailored to the nature of the event — from working lunches and coffee breaks for corporate programmes to more elaborate banquet-style spreads for festive occasions. For planners managing guests who are travelling, the hotel's own accommodation means attendees can book rooms under the same roof, a genuine convenience for multi-day programmes or out-of-town guests attending a wedding-related function.
Shahdara has a well-established identity as an active commercial and residential corridor on Delhi's eastern side. The presence of a Metro station in the vicinity makes Sapphire 1 at Park Plaza Delhi CBD Shahdara genuinely accessible for guests who prefer to avoid driving across the city — a point worth communicating clearly on event invitations. For those travelling by road, the hotel's location within a commercial district means parking facilities are part of the property's offering.
What sets this venue apart for planners is the combination of a branded hotel's service reliability with a location that is distinctly more accessible from east and north Delhi than the more crowded hospitality corridors of Connaught Place or Aerocity. Sapphire 1, as one of the event spaces within the property, carries all of those advantages into a room that is purpose-designed for events — making it a grounded, practical choice for organisers who want quality without the premium that central Delhi addresses typically command.
