Mahudi Jain Temple
This ancient pilgrimage site is renowned for the idol of Ghantakarna Mahavir Dev, believed to possess miraculous powers. Next to the shrine is a bell at a height of 30 feet. Devotees climb up to ring it for the fulfillment of a wish. A larger temple in the vicinity has a 22-inch marble idol of Padmaprabhu, the sixth Jain tirthankara in padmasana (lotus) posture. It is customary to take a bhoomti (circumambulation) around the 24 shrines of the tirthankaras (spiritual leaders) here.
