Nilgiri Lawns is an open-air outdoor lawn venue set within the grounds of The Ananta Udaipur Resort & Spa. It offers an open-sky setting framed by the natural greenery of the Aravalli hills.

As an open-air lawn, Nilgiri Lawns is subject to weather conditions. The resort has indoor banquet and event spaces that can serve as weather-contingency alternatives; event planners should discuss backup arrangements with the events team well in advance, particularly for events scheduled during or near the monsoon season.

The Ananta Udaipur Resort & Spa has in-house catering capabilities and its events team supports multi-day celebrations from a single point of contact. Whether external catering vendors are permitted should be confirmed directly with the property, as policies can vary by event type and contract terms.

The open layout of Nilgiri Lawns is designed to allow considerable creative flexibility with staging, lighting rigs, floral arrangements, and themed décor setups. Whether the resort permits independent external vendors or requires coordination through approved partners is something to clarify with the events team during the planning stage.

Yes, The Ananta Udaipur Resort & Spa offers on-site guest rooms and suites, making it possible for outstation guests to stay at the property itself. This is particularly convenient for destination weddings, as it reduces the need to coordinate transport between a separate venue and hotel.

Maharana Pratap Airport (Dabok Airport) is the nearest airport to Udaipur and serves the city with direct flights from major Indian metros including Mumbai, Delhi, and Jaipur. The exact travel time from the airport to The Ananta Udaipur in Bujhda should be confirmed with the resort, as it varies with traffic and route.

As a full-service resort, The Ananta Udaipur is expected to have parking facilities on the property. Prospective clients should confirm the available parking capacity and any arrangements for large-event guest vehicles directly with the resort's team.

Nilgiri Lawns' location in Bujhda, on the periphery of Udaipur city, means it benefits from lower ambient noise levels than venues closer to the city centre. However, local municipal noise regulations apply across Rajasthan and typically govern permissible music times. Clients planning live bands, DJ sets, or ceremonial music should confirm applicable curfew timings with the resort.

The lawn is set against the Aravalli hills with natural greenery framing the space, making it a visually compelling backdrop for wedding and event photography. The shifting natural light across the day — from afternoon ceremonies to candlelit evening receptions — offers varied shooting conditions for photographers and videographers.

The resort is set up to support multi-day celebrations, with the events team able to coordinate various functions — from mehndi and sangeet to the main ceremony and a day-after brunch — across the property's spaces. Clients should discuss scheduling and the use of additional indoor and outdoor event areas with The Ananta's events team.

Enquiries about pricing, availability, and event packages for Nilgiri Lawns should be directed to The Ananta Udaipur Resort & Spa's events or sales team. Audio-visual and technical setup requirements for outdoor events such as sound systems, projectors, and lighting rigs can vary significantly by event. The resort's events team should be consulted about what in-house AV equipment is available and what arrangements need to be made for specialised technical requirements.

The Ananta Udaipur is located in Bujhda, on the outskirts of Udaipur, making it accessible from the city while offering a quieter setting away from the dense old-city core.
