Lotus Convention

The Lotus Convention is designed to accommodate large gatherings, making it suitable for the multi-hundred-guest lists common at Hyderabadi weddings and major corporate events. Exact seated and standing capacity figures, as well as configuration-specific limits, should be confirmed directly with The Greenfields Resort & Convention's events team before booking.

Yes, the Lotus Convention regularly hosts Telugu wedding celebrations, including receptions, engagement ceremonies, and pre-wedding functions. The hall's scale and flexible layout allow decorators to install traditional mandap setups, floral arrangements, and stage backdrops. The on-site events team is experienced in coordinating the multi-vendor requirements typical of Hyderabadi wedding celebrations.

The Lotus Convention is well suited to corporate events, including conferences, product launches, annual general meetings, and team offsites. The resort setting is particularly useful for organisations hosting out-of-town attendees, as guests can stay on the property rather than commuting to a separate venue. Specific AV, staging, and technical requirements should be discussed with the events team during the inquiry process.

The Greenfields Resort & Convention is a resort property, which typically includes guest accommodation on the same campus. This is especially convenient for events like corporate retreats or multi-day wedding celebrations where attendees are travelling from other cities. The exact number of rooms available and room-block booking arrangements should be confirmed directly with the resort.

Catering arrangements at the Lotus Convention, including whether the resort offers in-house catering services or permits outside vendors, should be confirmed with the events team at The Greenfields Resort & Convention. Many resort properties of this type offer their own catering for banquet events. It is advisable to discuss menu options, cuisine styles, and any vendor policy restrictions when making your initial inquiry.

The Lotus Convention's neutral interiors and well-considered lighting are designed to accommodate a wide range of décor styles and technical setups, from elaborate floral installations for weddings to branded stage backdrops for corporate events. Whether the venue provides in-house AV equipment or works with preferred external vendors should be verified with the events team. Decorators and production crews are accommodated for setup ahead of the event day.

As a resort property, The Greenfields Resort & Convention is expected to have on-site parking to support large gatherings at the Lotus Convention. The exact parking capacity and any arrangements for overflow parking or valet service during peak events should be confirmed with the venue directly before finalising your booking.

Hyderabad is served by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, which connects the city to major domestic and international destinations, making the property accessible for outstation guests. The resort's accommodation means that travelling guests can stay on-site rather than arranging separate hotel bookings. Specific directions and the nearest transport links to The Greenfields Resort & Convention should be confirmed with the property.

The Greenfields Resort & Convention's campus includes outdoor green areas, which can allow multi-function events — such as a wedding with both a daytime outdoor ceremony and an evening indoor reception — to flow across the property under coordinated management. The availability of outdoor spaces and how they are paired with the Lotus Convention should be discussed with the events team when planning a multi-session event.

Popular event dates, particularly wedding season weekends and major festival periods in Hyderabad, tend to fill up well in advance at established resort venues. It is generally advisable to begin the inquiry and booking process several months ahead to secure the preferred date. The events team at The Greenfields Resort & Convention can advise on current availability and any booking timelines that apply.

Pricing for the Lotus Convention will vary depending on the type of event, guest count, catering choices, and any additional services required. The Greenfields Resort & Convention's events team can provide a tailored quote once the event details are shared. Prospective hosts are encouraged to contact the property directly through the official website at greenfieldsresort.in to begin the inquiry.

Cancellation and rescheduling terms for the Lotus Convention are set by The Greenfields Resort & Convention and may vary based on how far in advance changes are requested and the nature of the booking. It is important to review these terms carefully before signing any event contract. The events team can walk prospective hosts through the applicable policy during the booking process.

The Lotus Convention is an enclosed, air-conditioned convention hall, making it suitable for events throughout the year, including during Hyderabad's warm summer months when outdoor venues can be uncomfortable for large gatherings. This also makes the space a reliable choice for daytime events when outdoor heat is a concern. Hosts planning events during peak summer should confirm the hall's cooling capacity for their expected guest count with the venue team.

The Lotus Convention's layout is designed to accommodate stage setups for both wedding mandaps and corporate presentation stages, with sufficient floor area and ceiling height to support structured installations. Whether a permanent or temporary stage is provided, and what dimensions are available, should be confirmed with the events team at The Greenfields Resort & Convention to ensure it meets the specific needs of your event.
