Tease Lawn is the dedicated open-air event space at Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield, offering a refreshing alternative to the hotel's indoor banquet options. Set within the lush grounds of one of Whitefield's most recognised business-and-leisure hotels, the lawn delivers an alfresco atmosphere that works beautifully for celebrations that call for natural light, open skies, and a sense of occasion. The space is well-suited to large gatherings and provides a versatile canvas that event planners can personalise to match almost any visual theme or style.
As an outdoor venue attached to a full-service hotel, Tease Lawn benefits from the complete support infrastructure of Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield — from professional banqueting teams and in-house culinary expertise to reliable technical support. This means hosts can enjoy the free-spirited character of an outdoor setting without sacrificing the service standards expected of a Tata-owned Vivanta property.
Tease Lawn is a popular choice for weddings and wedding-related functions, including mehendi ceremonies, sangeet evenings, and outdoor receptions, where the open setting creates a naturally celebratory mood. The space is equally well-regarded for large corporate events — product launches, dealer meets, team celebrations, and gala dinners — where organisations want something more engaging than a conventional banquet hall.
Social milestones such as milestone birthday parties, anniversary dinners, and festive gatherings also find a fitting backdrop here. The lawn's adaptability means it can transition from an elegantly lit evening reception with a stage and dance floor to a daytime conference-style setup with exhibition stalls, depending on the requirement. Event planners frequently appreciate being able to pair the lawn with the hotel's indoor spaces for multi-day or multi-function programmes, creating a seamless flow between covered and open-air environments across the property.
Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield sits in Whitefield, one of Bengaluru's most significant IT and business corridors. The area is home to major technology parks, multinational corporate campuses, and an established hospitality ecosystem, making it a practical choice for corporate event organisers whose delegates are already based in or travelling to this part of the city.
Whitefield is served by its own suburban rail station, and the area connects to central Bengaluru via ITPL Main Road and Old Airport Road. Kempegowda International Airport is accessible via the STRR/Peripheral Ring Road corridor, making the hotel reachable for outstation guests and delegates flying in. The neighbourhood's density of tech companies and business parks means that for many corporate hosts, the hotel is essentially on their doorstep — reducing commute friction for both organisers and attendees. For guests travelling from the city centre, ride-hailing services and the hotel's own transport support make the journey straightforward.

As an open-air lawn, Tease Lawn is subject to weather conditions, and Bengaluru's monsoon season typically runs from June through September. The hotel's events team can advise on temporary structure options such as shamianas or marquee coverings, and the property also has indoor banquet spaces that can serve as a backup. It is best to discuss contingency planning directly with the events team at the time of booking.
Yes, one of the practical advantages of Tease Lawn is that it sits within a full-service hotel that also has indoor event spaces, making it straightforward to plan multi-function or multi-day programmes. Organisers can use the lawn for one function — such as an evening reception or sangeet — while using an indoor hall for another, such as a conference session or formal dinner. The banqueting team can help coordinate the logistics of using multiple spaces across the property.
Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield has an in-house culinary team that services events at Tease Lawn, offering catering options that span Indian regional cuisines and international menus. Whether the event calls for a formal plated dinner, a live-station buffet, or cocktail-style catering, the team can curate a menu to suit the occasion and guest count. Details about menu packages, dietary accommodations, and food-and-beverage minimums should be confirmed with the hotel's events team.
Tease Lawn is frequently chosen for wedding-related functions including mehendi ceremonies, sangeet evenings, and outdoor wedding receptions, making it one of the more sought-after outdoor wedding venues in the Whitefield area. The open-air setting lends itself naturally to the celebratory and decorative nature of these occasions. Couples are encouraged to check availability well in advance, particularly for peak wedding season dates.
As part of a full-service Vivanta property, Tease Lawn events benefit from the hotel's technical support infrastructure, which can include sound systems, lighting rigs, projection equipment, and stage setups. Specific AV configurations will depend on the nature of the event and should be discussed during the planning process with the events team. Third-party AV vendors may also be permitted subject to hotel policy.
Tease Lawn's open-air format makes it a highly adaptable space that can be dressed and configured to suit different themes and event formats, from floral-draped wedding receptions to branded corporate setups with exhibition stalls or a formal dinner arrangement. Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield is a full-service hotel and has guest rooms available for attendees or out-of-town guests who wish to stay on-site, which is a significant convenience for multi-day events, destination weddings, or corporate programmes with outstation delegates. Room block arrangements for large events can typically be discussed with the hotel's sales or reservations team as part of the overall event package. Specific room types, rates, and block availability should be confirmed directly with the hotel.
As an open-air venue operating within a residential and commercial area of Whitefield, noise levels and event cut-off times may be subject to local municipal guidelines. Hosts planning events with live music, DJ performances, or amplified sound should confirm permissible decibel levels and event end times with the hotel's events team before finalising the programme. Being clear about these parameters at the planning stage helps avoid last-minute adjustments on the event day.
Many hotels permit clients to bring in preferred external vendors such as floral decorators, photographers, and entertainment acts for events at their venues, and this is common practice for weddings and large social functions. Whether Vivanta Bengaluru, Whitefield allows outside vendors at Tease Lawn, and under what conditions or vendor fees, should be confirmed with the events team during the initial planning conversation. Some categories of service may be preferred to be handled in-house, so clarifying this early helps with vendor coordination.
