Lawn2

Lawn2 is an outdoor, open-air lawn space set within the grounds of Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort. It offers an expanse of manicured grass surrounded by the resort's green landscape. Guests planning events should discuss weather contingency arrangements — such as tent or canopy options — with the resort team directly.

Specific capacity figures for Lawn2 have not been published on the official resort website and would depend on the event format, seating style, and setup required. Prospective clients are encouraged to contact Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort directly to get accurate capacity information based on their event's needs.

As an open-air lawn, Lawn2 is subject to weather conditions, and it is important to plan for contingencies, especially during Karnataka's monsoon season. Guests should ask the resort about available backup options such as temporary structures, canopies, or alternative covered spaces on the property. The events team at Kimmane can advise on the most suitable weather contingency plan for each booking.

The resort is located in Kasaba Hobli, Shivamogga, and Shivamogga is accessible from Bengaluru by road — a route that passes through Karnataka's scenic Malnad region. Shivamogga also has its own airport with regional flight connections, which can be convenient for guests travelling from other cities. The resort's team can provide specific directions and coordinate logistics for large groups upon request.

Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort is a full-service resort property and offers accommodation for guests, which is a significant advantage for destination weddings and multi-day corporate retreats. Staying on-site removes the need to arrange late-night transport and allows guests to enjoy the resort's golf course setting throughout their stay. Room availability and block-booking arrangements for event groups should be confirmed with the reservations team.

As a luxury resort property, Kimmane typically offers in-house catering services for events, though the specific policies around outside vendors should be confirmed directly with the resort. Couples and event planners should ask about menu customisation options, cuisine variety, and whether dedicated catering packages are available for lawn events. The events team is the best point of contact for these details.

The open-air lawn setting at Lawn2 is suitable for both wedding ceremonies and receptions, giving couples the option to host their entire wedding celebration in one scenic outdoor space. The resort's natural golf-course surroundings provide a photogenic backdrop for rituals, vows, and celebration alike. Couples should discuss their specific programme with the events team to ensure the setup and timing work seamlessly.

Lawn2's outdoor, garden-like setting makes it a popular choice for pre-wedding functions such as mehendi, haldi, and sangeet ceremonies, where natural light and open space enhance the atmosphere. The resort surroundings provide a relaxed yet elevated backdrop that works well for the informal warmth these events typically call for. The events team can help plan the decor, setup, and flow for multi-function bookings.

Details about in-house audio-visual equipment, sound systems, and lighting rigs at Lawn2 are best confirmed with the resort's events team, as setups can vary depending on the nature of the event. Outdoor venues like Lawn2 may require specific sound management considerations, and the team can advise on what is provided versus what would need to be arranged externally. Early discussion of technical requirements is recommended.

Yes, Lawn2's setting within a luxury golf resort makes it an appealing choice for corporate retreats, team offsites, and outdoor conference sessions where a change of environment is part of the agenda. The resort context naturally lends itself to team-building activities, networking events, and leadership offsites. The events team can tailor setups and catering to meet corporate group requirements.

Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort's location within the Shivamogga landscape offers a natural, green setting that stands in contrast to urban hotel venues — guests experience open skies, fresh air, and the visual sweep of a golf course rather than a carpeted function room. This environment creates a memorable sense of occasion and makes destination events feel genuinely distinct. For couples and planners prioritising a scenic, resort-style atmosphere in Karnataka, Lawn2 is a strong option.

Outdoor events in India are subject to local noise regulations, and the resort's policies on permitted event hours and sound levels should be discussed with the team before finalising a booking. Being located in Kasaba Hobli, Shivamogga rather than a dense urban area may offer more flexibility, but this should be confirmed directly. The events team can clarify what is permissible and help plan the event timeline accordingly.

As a resort property with its own grounds, Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort is expected to have parking facilities for guests and event attendees. The capacity and any specific arrangements for large event groups — such as valet or managed parking — should be confirmed with the resort when planning the event. This is particularly relevant for large weddings or corporate gatherings with significant guest numbers.

Enquiries about availability, pricing, and event packages for Lawn2 can be directed to Kimmane Luxury Golf Resort through their official website at kimmaneresorts.com or by contacting the property's events team by phone or email.
