Lawn-9

Lawn-9 is an open-air outdoor lawn set within the grounds of Surjivan Resort. This gives it an open, airy character with natural surroundings that enclosed banquet halls cannot replicate. Hosts planning events during monsoon season or extreme weather periods should discuss weather contingency arrangements directly with the resort.

As an open-air lawn, Lawn-9 is subject to weather conditions, and it is advisable to discuss backup or shelter arrangements with the Surjivan Resort team when booking. The resort may have options such as tenting or marquee solutions depending on the season and event size. Confirming contingency plans well in advance is recommended, especially for events scheduled during the monsoon months.

The exact guest capacity of Lawn-9 depends on the event format, seating arrangement, and layout chosen, and these figures are best confirmed directly with Surjivan Resort's events team. Capacities typically differ between seated dinner setups and standing cocktail or reception formats. The resort team can provide layout-specific capacity figures to help with planning.

The open-air setting of Lawn-9 at Surjivan Resort is naturally suited to wedding events that include a baraat procession, given the space and access that an outdoor lawn provides. Hosts should discuss the specific logistics of procession routes, entry points, and timing with the resort's events coordinator to ensure a smooth experience.

Surjivan Resort is a resort property and offers on-site accommodation, which can be a significant advantage for multi-day wedding functions or guests travelling from out of town. Event hosts should contact the resort directly to enquire about room availability, room block arrangements, and any packages that combine event and accommodation bookings.

The open-air, unenclosed format of Lawn-9 gives event decorators considerable flexibility to work with a range of styles, from traditional floral mandaps and fairy-light canopies to contemporary minimalist setups. Specific restrictions around fire, open flames, or structural installations should be confirmed with the Surjivan Resort team. It is advisable to discuss preferred décor themes with both your decorator and the resort's events team well in advance.

Surjivan Resort is expected to have in-house catering capabilities as a full-service resort property. Whether outside caterers are permitted is a policy detail that should be confirmed directly with the resort's events team, as this can vary and may be subject to conditions. It is recommended to discuss menu options, cuisine styles, and catering logistics early in the planning process.

Outdoor events at Lawn-9 typically require sound and AV equipment suited to open-air settings. The availability of in-house AV equipment, sound systems, lighting rigs, and generator backup should be confirmed with Surjivan Resort's events team. Hosts should also enquire about any noise curfew or sound level restrictions that may apply to the outdoor space.

As an outdoor venue within a resort in the Gurugram area, Lawn-9 may be subject to local municipal noise regulations and resort-specific curfew timings. Event planners should confirm the permitted hours for music and amplified sound directly with Surjivan Resort before finalising their event schedule. Knowing these timings early helps in coordinating DJ or live music bookings accordingly.

Surjivan Resort is located in Naurangpura, Gurugram, Haryana, within the National Capital Region, making it accessible from Delhi and central Gurugram via major road routes. Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi is the primary air gateway for outstation guests. For precise driving distances and travel time estimates from specific locations, it is best to check with the resort or use a mapping service.

As a resort property, Surjivan Resort is expected to have on-site parking to accommodate guests. The parking capacity for large events and any valet service availability should be confirmed with the resort's events team when planning a high-attendance function. Early coordination ensures smooth guest arrival and departure logistics.

Lawn-9's open-air lawn format is well suited to pre-wedding celebrations including mehndi, haldi, and sangeet functions, where colour, music, and guest movement are central to the occasion. The outdoor setting provides room for entertainment setups, dance floors, and vibrant décor without the constraints of interior spaces. Hosts should confirm space availability and any setup-specific requirements with Surjivan Resort's events team.

The resort environment of Surjivan Resort, combined with the open-air nature of Lawn-9, makes it a practical choice for corporate team-building activities, informal offsites, and evening networking events where a setting away from the office is valued. Specific requirements such as projector screens, stage setups, or breakout areas should be discussed with the resort's events team to confirm feasibility.

Pricing for Lawn-9 at Surjivan Resort will depend on the event date, guest count, duration, catering requirements, and any additional services requested. To receive an accurate quote and check availability, it is recommended to contact the Surjivan Resort events team directly through the resort's official website at surjivan.com or by reaching out via their contact channels.
