Flip 5 is a dedicated event venue within The Umrao Hotels and Resorts, a resort property located in Samalkha, on the outskirts of Delhi. The space carries the distinctive identity of The Umrao's broader hospitality philosophy — refined, contemporary, and built for occasions that deserve more than an ordinary setting. Whether the event calls for an intimate gathering or a larger celebratory affair, Flip 5 offers a flexible environment that adapts to the scale and style of the occasion without compromising on atmosphere. The interiors are designed with a clean, modern sensibility that serves as a versatile canvas for decorators and event stylists working across a wide range of themes.
What makes Flip 5 stand apart within the resort's portfolio of event spaces is its self-contained character — guests and organisers benefit from a venue that feels purposefully designed for events rather than repurposed from another function. The setup allows for clear sightlines, good flow between areas, and the kind of spatial logic that experienced event planners appreciate when choreographing everything from ceremony sequences to conference agendas.
Flip 5 is well-suited to a broad spectrum of events. Wedding functions — including receptions, engagement ceremonies, and pre-wedding celebrations — find a natural home here, with the resort's wider facilities available to support multi-day celebrations. Corporate clients use the space for conferences, product launches, team off-sites, and formal dinners, benefiting from the distance from Delhi's urban core, which encourages focused, distraction-free gatherings. Social celebrations such as milestone birthdays, anniversaries, and festive gatherings are equally at home in this space.
The Umrao's in-house events and catering teams work directly with clients to configure the venue — seating arrangements, stage placement, AV requirements, and décor — according to the specific demands of each event. This integrated approach means that organisers working with Flip 5 deal with a single point of coordination rather than managing multiple external vendors across separate briefs.
Samalkha places The Umrao Hotels and Resorts in a position that is accessible from central Delhi and the wider National Capital Region while offering the openness and scale that a city-centre property typically cannot provide. The location is particularly well-suited to events where guests are travelling from multiple NCR zones — Gurgaon, Noida, and Delhi alike — and where the option of on-site accommodation for outstation guests adds meaningful convenience.
For event planners, the resort setting translates into practical advantages: ample parking, outdoor areas that can complement indoor event spaces, and a self-sufficient property where catering, accommodation, and event infrastructure operate under one roof. Flip 5, as part of this larger resort complex, inherits all of these locational and logistical strengths, making it a compelling option for anyone seeking a venue that combines accessibility from Delhi with the breathing room and finish of a dedicated resort property.
