Flip at The Umrao Hotels and Resorts is a distinctive event venue set within a resort property in Samalkha, Delhi. The space takes its name seriously — it is designed to offer a refreshing departure from conventional banquet formats, presenting an environment that feels contemporary and energetic without sacrificing the warmth expected of a premium hospitality setting. Whether the occasion calls for an intimate gathering or a more expansive celebration, Flip provides a flexible backdrop that can be dressed up or pared back to suit the mood of the event.
The interiors carry a modern sensibility, with clean lines and a layout that allows event planners to configure the space according to their specific requirements. Lighting and décor elements can be tailored to reinforce a chosen theme, making it equally suited to high-energy corporate launches, product activations, cocktail evenings, and social celebrations. The venue sits within the broader ecosystem of The Umrao, meaning guests have access to the resort's hospitality infrastructure — professional service teams, in-house catering expertise, and the logistical support that experienced resort staff bring to large-format events.
Flip is well suited to a broad range of event formats. Corporate clients will find it responsive to the demands of networking evenings, team gatherings, and brand events, where the venue's modern character adds a sense of occasion. Social hosts planning milestone birthday parties, anniversary dinners, or pre-wedding functions will appreciate the versatility of the space and the resort's ability to deliver a seamless experience from setup through to service.
The venue is part of The Umrao's larger portfolio of event spaces, which means multi-day programmes — where different spaces are used for different segments — can be coordinated efficiently under one roof. Catering is handled by The Umrao's in-house culinary team, which brings the consistency and quality assurance that independent vendors can sometimes find difficult to match. Specific menus, service styles, and F&B packages can be discussed directly with the events team to align with the nature and scale of each booking.
The Umrao Hotels and Resorts is located in Samalkha, Delhi, positioning it as a resort destination that offers a sense of escape from the dense urban core while remaining within the National Capital Region. This makes it a practical choice for events where organisers want a resort atmosphere — greenery, open spaces, and a calmer environment — without requiring guests to travel far from Delhi or its surrounding areas.
The location is particularly relevant for events that benefit from the resort's residential capacity, allowing out-of-town guests or multi-day event delegates to stay on-site. For planners coordinating weddings or extended corporate retreats, the ability to consolidate event activities, accommodation, and dining within a single property significantly reduces logistical complexity. Road connectivity to major parts of Delhi and the NCR makes Flip and The Umrao accessible for guests driving in from across the region.
